A very low count for me this week: already seen Junkyard and am going to see Forty Years On at Chichester, so that will mean a one-play-day when normally I'd see two, twice a week.
Then I'm away for a week and though there are well-known theatres - which I'd hoped to visit/revisit if transport allowed - in the general area, the blighters have nothing on while we're there - grr! The only feasible production I can find is a touring one, visiting the local arts centre for one night only and for which so far only about 5% of the seats have been sold...

This week I am going to... LONDON. I'll be coming in from across the Pond, for my annual visit. Monday is Don Juan in Soho. Tuesday is The Goat, or Who is Sylvia? And Wednesday is Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. I will then be heading off for a couple weeks, but will return later in the month to see Dreamgirls, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, 42nd Street, and Angels in America.

I'm across the pond this week for a week full of theatre going. We are able to fit in 8 shows. In an ideal world those will be: Come From Away Dear Evan Hansen (early morning wait for SRO!) Natasha..... Comet Groundhog Day War Paint Anastasia Waitress Sunset Boulevard
May chop and change one or two, Bronx Tale and Bandstand also seem like good options.

La Strada on Monday and Funny Girl on Tuesday in Birmingham and then 42nd Street on Saturday. May go to see the NT Live broadcast of Obsession on Thursday but after the reviews I probably won't bother.

This week I'm going to Athens! Catching up with friends of thirty years I met on holiday. Will get to watch Eurovision on Greek TV so I can vote for the UK, but my friends already vote for us anyway!

Rachel Tucker at the MAC in Belfast on Saturday...its a slow month for me, this is all I have booked until next month. Gurl, preach it! I only have The Color Purple booked this month. But I never book in advance but currently hafe at least one show booked every month between now and September. Six in total (I know, don't judge, I'm crap at booking in advance and most shows just fall into my lap!) but most are special events tor said shows: May 21 - The Color Purple (one night only) Jun 16 - The Wind In The Willows (first preview) Jul 08 - Kinky Boots (Matt's final performance) Jul 22 - Wicked (cast change) Aug ?? - Wonderland (not booked, but planned, to see Rachael in Richmond. May also do Milton Keynes the week before to see Kerry again!) Sep 02 - Half a Sixpence (closing night)
