I'm off to Bath to see an all-male production of The Mikado. Normally I think the world needs all-male productions like we need more Eton boys in politics. However I couldn't resist the prospect of seeing a male company sing all the parts (as written) in G&S. And given I don't think women are losing too much sleep over not getting a role in a G&S production, I'm willing to let this one slide.

Because G&S/The Mikado is known for being so culturally sensitive about such things? I have no clue actually (I'm tagging along with a friend who loves the company) but I'm going to go with 'Probably not'

Going to see my impersonator, Sat Matinee.
Can't be any good, I mean why is everyone talking about Julie and Billy?
(Very oddly I have noticed that another name I am somtimes known as, is shared by one of the dancers. We will be cheering for her!)

Today I shall be heading to The Other Palace to check out The Whisper House for the matinee. Simon Bailey was in I Can't Sing so I trust him to pick a big hit to star in.
This evening I shall be hanging around the South Bank to see Consent. It sounds like a barrel of laughs so a perfect way to end the day.

Saturday - Angels in America part 1 and 2 very excited to see it but scared I may get very tired as I have never done a two show day before I love them, always try to be in London Tuesday to Thursday when I'm down so that I can see 6 shows if possible in the shortest time. So long as you go for a decent walk between shows to stretch the legs, hydrate yourself and get fresh air you'll be fine. Nationals also got food on site which beats having to grab a Tesco sarnie or similar when going between locations but do make sure you get out of the building even if its only for 5 minutes as real fresh air (well as fresh as London can be) is the best pick me up I know. This week - The Addams Family Not Dead Enough

A somewhat insane week this week. Showstopper in London tomorrow evening then English Touring Opera at my local theatre Tuesday (Tosca), Thursday (Patience) & Friday (more Tosca, to see the other cast). And unfortunately I still have to fit full time work in as well.
