Today I shall be, in the style of Ryan, taking the train to Idleness for a love-in. Matinee or evening? I'm seeing the matinee today.

This week I shall be jacked up on chocolate and cheap Lambrusco. When I awake from my sugar filled stupor I shall be heading to the Leicester Square Theatre to see Audra McDonald on Wednesday. I shall remind her of her appearance in the TV movie of 'Annie' and will ask her to sing 'You're Never Fully Dressed Without A Smile'. I think she'll like that.
On Friday, I shall be at the Menier to see 'Love In Idleness'. Hopefully I don't get too drunk and start heckling filthy jokes at the expense of the surnames of the two leads.
On Saturday I shall be hanging around the Trafalgar Studios to see 'The Philanthropist' and hoping to meet Charlotte Ritchie to complete a 'Call The Midwife' Easter Double Bill.
On Sunday I shall be at The Other Palace at the Musical Marathon. More chocolate. Although I hear they're called Snickers now.
As it's Easter, on Monday, rather like The Big G, I shall be resting.

I am so glad I did not read this until after I saw Love In Idleness! (No theatre for me this coming week. I didn't want to book anything in London over Easter in case the trains were screwed. Of course not having done so it turns out they'll be fine. Still, it'll be nice to have 4 days at home, especially as it's the first full-coverage F1 race of the season.)

Try posting about something great you are not going to and maybe somehow a surprise ticket will turn up.

"Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" tomorrow for the first time. Cannot wait. So a good book and a cafe pre- and between shows I think!
