Did you watch RENT at the SP? I am debating whether I should go or not but I couldn't find any kind of reviews... Not until tomorrow, the last night.
I agree, there is almost nothing on social media about it. @stockwellphouse are usually as keen as everyone else to retweet positive comments. Best I could see of those was "A good show with a brilliant+talented cast". Oh well ...
What did you think of it? I quite liked it, although some things were very amateur (in the negative sense), I didn't like the band and apart from a few mistakes they made they were also extremely quite compared to the vocals. But the cast was very talented, especially for people aged 19-21 (!). I'm glad I went as I think the show is a masterpiece and we definitely need a London production asap.

Great fun, the cast were lovely. I sort of go with the flow when it's my local - I let the enthusiasm and commitment mask any blemishes:) Yes I agree, it's absolutely a classic.

Les Mis concert thing on Saturday. Hoping rough Dawn isn’t in. Don't worry, it's Ladies Day at Chester Racecourse tomorrow. She pushes the definition *slightly*, but hasn't missed one for 25 years.

Ballet and beer for me tonight, in that order.
First, Northern Ballet at Cast in Doncaster, the cultural capital of South Yorkshire. Then, by 9 o'clock, I'll be in the pub. I suspect the main topic of conversation will be another word beginning with B!
(And I'm currently onboard a train that is bound for my beloved Bridlington.)
