I brought this up because I saw a new article about it TODAY! The article said SHE blamed the FBI and the Russians. That isn't what I call keeping out of the spotlight. She has the right to say this. And I have the right to call her out on it. And how am I insulting her? I don't feel the need to onstantly bash Trump because everyone is doing that (and rightly so). I just bring up stuff that hardly anyone is talking about. I haven't seen you post about Trumps behaviour either? Then why is there a need to call me personally out about not posting anything about Trump when you don't either? She and a whole slew of other people are blaming the FBI and the Russians. It's not like she has done a press conference on it, tweeted about it or anything similar. How are you insulting her? Is 'pathetic' not an insult? Plenty of people are talking about the Russians, it was the main story in the US yesterday. I have posted about Trump's behaviour numerous times in this thread. I haven't in the past month or so because the thread died and I've been talking about him in other places. You bumped this thread specifically to call Hillary pathetic. I just said an article about Clinton PERSONALLY blaming the FBI and the Russians came out today. Why am I not allowed to talk about it? Is it really that strange to bring up something that came out today? And is "pathetic" really such an insult? Please. Trump has been called a lot worse.

Trump has been called a lot worse because he is a much worse person. Yes, pathetic is an insult. You're allowed to talk about whatever you want, I think you should just stop pretending that you like Clinton more than Trump when the former is the only one that you consistently insult and call out.

Oh please. It seems you can't handle my calling out the candidate that you wanted to win. I only call Clinton out because no one else seems to. I think Trump will be the worst president in history. There's a big chance of him either being impeached or getting us all killed. To be clear, I wanted Sanders to win and I think the two party system is a travesty.

Call out who you want but don't complain when someone calls you out on it back. I have no issue with people pointing out the issues with Clinton (not that I think blaming Russia for hacking is one of them), but when it is in such a biased way that she is the only person someone is consistently calling out, when others are doing far worse, then I do. The only time you say anything negative about Trump is when someone asks you why you never do. Sanders was out of the conversation six months ago.

If I want to bash Clinton, I bash Clinton. The majority of people on this thread consistently and exclusively call out Trump. And that's their right. But when they only call out Trump, no one complains about that. It seems there's a double standard. If you want to argue with me on the content of the issues then that's fine with me, but please stop complaining about the sheer fact that I dare to call out Clinton

I haven't asked for an explanation. I don't need one, I'm already aware of what you're doing and why. No one complains because Trump is by far the most repugnant human involved in this entire election and that's clear to everyone with eyes. I'll complain about what I want. However, I'm not willing to engage any further with such a blatantly biased point of view. Enjoy nitpicking about someone months (and probably years) on from this election, but don't expect responses.

You did so out of your own free will. What you say about Trump is also a biased point of view. I agree with it, but it's still biased. Like I said at least 3 times by now, I only brought it up because she just said it and the article came out today. I know you don't want to accept that logical explanation, but that's not my problem. I'm done with you on this topic.

You're right, you're the logical one in this conversation, not me.
Goodbye!

The likelihood is that they made the difference. Those responsible for acquiescing to Putin in this way are playing with fire - Trump sides with the weak but noisy Russia against the much more powerful (than both) China, he promotes compromised figures into key positions of power and seems to want international trade to be akin to a protection racket. Add to that, the CIA appearing to be in a war with the FBI and this is probably going to get bloody. Putin has made Russia into a troll nation, cheating their way through international sport, interfering in elections across a number of countries, infesting the comments sections of websites here, there and everywhere. If the US support that, then we should stand against them.

If the US support that, then we should stand against them. Sure, I am in no way denying that this probably did make a considerable difference. I think you all might have misunderstood what I was trying to say. I find it ridiculous for them to blame their loss on the Russians and the FBI, when all they did was uncover the Clinton and DNC dirty tricks. Yes, the Russians were way out of line, but that doesn't change the fact that the DNC was corrupt and played dirty tricks on Sanders and was incredibly biased in favour of Clinton. I just think it's a bit cheap to blame the whistleblowers for your loss.

You sure this is the correct thread? I thought he was talking about the hearings for Trump's cabinet picks and their musical backgrounds? I can so see Ben Carson as Jean Valjean.

For Trump it's probably just his irrational hatred of Obama. For Paul Ryan and the other Republicans it's just their Ayn Rand fantasies and general hated of the poor.
We are talking about a country where a good chunk of people seem to genuinely think Obamacare and the ACA are different things.

Less than 6 hours before The Donald officially takes office. How long will he remain president? My guess is approximately 1 year, maybe 2.

I'm not sure if having Mike Pence as president is the better alternative...

I'm not sure if having Mike Pence as president is the better alternative... Very true. But actually for the Republicans it might be. They can control Pence, something that can't really be said of Trump. I wouldn't be surprised that if something in the line of impeachment came up, some Republicans might be inclined to go along with it so they could put an insider in office instead of Trump. Just a theory though.

Trump is being sworn in.
This always conjures up an image of the outgoing president saying to the incoming one: "OK, you ***t, it's all yours. Don't ***k it up."

One of Obama's last tweets, regarding his pardons and commutations: "Proud to make this one of my final actions as President. America is a nation of second chances, and 1,715 people deserved that shot." Did he just make a Hamilton reference?!!!

The Inauguration is about to commence.
I'm watching for the bit when Trump rips off his prosthetic face to reveal he is Vladimir Putin on stilts.
