With Ed being a politician, I am surprised he is getting so much support. Politics is a big interest of mine but thought I was a minority and that a lot people had little time for politicians.

Ed: I think people admired him for taking such a risk. He was a properly serious politician with a pitbull reputation, so this could have worked out disastrously - and his first dance was so stiff and terrible it looked like it was going to be a real miscalculation. I think it was the bravery of the bloomin' Charleston which really got people onside. And Katya must be a very good teacher - there is a lot of content in those dances, even if he sometimes looks like a dancing bear doing them. But also the British public have a taste for the absurd (don't forget Boaty McBoatface.) Really there haven't been many terrible dancers this year (I seem to recall other years when people had to be practically pulled around the stage) so it's inevitable that some good ones will go early-ish.

I could be wrong but I actually do think that one of the three (Ed, Greg, Rinder) will go next. If it was solely down to public vote then probably not. But I can't see two of Daisy, Ore, Claudia, Danny and Louise being in the dance off. Maybe Daisy and Ore at a push but I think Ore will get a pushback vote this weekend. Therefore, it's likely to be Daisy vs. Ed/Greg/Rinder and I think the judges would save her (or any of the other good ones) over all 3, unless someone has a particularly dire dance this week like Laura and her Samba.
If my prediction is right, I just hope it isn't Rinder that goes.

I think it might be Greg to go next, as much as I like looking at him his dancing isn't improving (which both Rinder and Ed's is, even a little bit) Then I think Ed will go and finally Rinder. Personally I'm loving both Ed and Rinder for genuinely trying to learn and improving at their respective levels AND both clearly loving it. They aren't relying purely on comedy like say Anne Widicombe or John Sargent did so I think they have earned the 'right' to be kept in a bit longer. As much as Greg is trying he's not really progressing sadly...which is a shame as I like the man.

It's an entertainment show and I find Daisy, Greg and Louise deadly dull. Ed and Rinder are hugely entertaining. Danny is fabulous but he is a trained professional.

The problem is that I really want to back the likes of Ed Balls and Judge Rinder because they are obviously enjoying it so much and have shown the most improvement for me. They have come into it with no dance background and have got better as the show has gone - even if they still aren't the best dancers in the competition. I'm torn between wanting them to go far for that reason and between the likes of Danny and Louise who are fab but do have an advantage in their background.

I don't understand the dislike of Louise and Daisy on here!
They both seem to be working hard, and trying to improve - and actually they come across as being lovely, if a bit lacking in confidence. I certainly enjoy watching them. Surely you don't have to be hysterical and manic to deserve to stay??!

They're not throwing enough camp into it.
Dull. Dull dull.

For me Louise turned a corner with her Charleston - and her AT last week was amazing. Agree with Burly about not enough camp as far as Daisy's concerned.
I'm worried for Ore tonight - the rumba is a horrid dance for a bloke, especially one who needs a good come-back.

Louise and Daizzzzzy are just so dull. They're both lucky that they have great partners who make them look a lot better than they are.

And Claudia Winkelman and The Other One are both grim and boring on the entertainment front.
Strictly Come Dancing, after the first couple of weeks, is like watching Groundhog Day.

Now where are my over-ripe tomatoes for Honoured Guest? Whilst I agree with you about The Other One, Lady Claudia of Winkleman is TV gold and deserves to have her fringe cast in gold and emblazoned onto the glitter ball!

Quelle surprise that Clifton Wife and Clifton Sister were shouting undermarked for Kevin's choreography.
Louise is way to nicey-nice. There were opportunities for 'bam' moments that were completely missed in her dance.
I liked Danny's routine despite being an Argentine Tango.
Liked Claudia and AJ and I quite liked Daisy too.

Daisy - For a salsa - which I usually dislike - I enjoyed it a lot and thought it was a big improvement from her Cha-Cha-Cha. A lot less stiff.
Greg - Quite an exciting routine but he looked like he was constipated and I still saw no major improvement in his technique.
Judge Rinder - Another lovely dance from him. Didn't love it quite as much as last week, but still really liked it.
Ore - Meh. Boring and not enough hip action. Not bad just not great. Overmarked as well. I wonder if he's gonna get back to his American Smooth/Jive greatness.
Ed - Over it.
Claudia - Really lovely. Only thing I can say is it felt a little slow for the song at times. But they are a joy to watch every week.
Danny - Incredible. They worked well with an awkward song choice and the footwork was unbelievable. Easily as good as Louise's last week.
Louise - Really loved the choreography and style of it and technically danced well but I'm having trouble with Louise's character work again. Think I prefer her doing serious dances, her OTT smiling just comes off as cheesy and forced rather than convincing.
1. Danny 2. Claudia 3. Louise 4. Judge Rinder 5. Daisy 6. Ore 7. Greg 8. Ed

Loved Claudia, Danny, Louise. Liked Greg, Judge. Didn't like Daisy. Think Ore's in trouble.
Ed.

I thought tonights show was great.
I thought Louise looked lovely and danced beautifully.
Claudia and AJ were great.
Well done- Ed. It was crazy and frantic but fun. As a person he seems to be opening up as well.
Judge Ringer- you could see how he was enjoying it.
As good as Danny was (and I thought he really was) I actually tend to agree with Craig and Darcy on this one. It was a bit frantic.
As I always do, I like Ore. I just don't like the Rumba.
If I were to predict a couple in the dance off, I'd say Greg and Daisy.
Again as a host Claudia Winkleman has taken the comedy route, dick down and what's with the Mariachi Band

It's what she always does for the terms and conditions? We had a barbershop quartet earlier in the series didn't we? A ventriloquist etc. Do you really think she booked them personally, or do you think perhaps the producers and script writers have a bit more influence?

Dance off predictions.
Should be Ed and Greg (Ed goes).
Will be Daisy and Greg (Greg goes) or Daisy and Ore (Daisy goes).

I want Louise and Ore in the dance off now after Joanne's calls of 'undermarked.'

Daisy, Ore or Greg in the dance off for me. Ed is FABULOUS entertainment - a great routine tonight. It is an entertainment show after all. Some of them this year are taking it far too seriously! It's NOT the Olympic Games.
