Ian is back! He's just waltzed back onto our screens... With Zoe on It Takes Two, every Wednesday! Yay! I breathed a big sigh of relief when I saw him - I thought they might have got rid of him...

Yes, clinging on to any bit of TV exposure! How many years since he was on the main show??

He was in the audience over the weekend so I guessed he would have some involvement. Pride comes before a fall and if he gets a fair payment for being on It Takes Two, why not?

S I subscribe to Strictly Come Dancing on Facebook and the just showed a very short clip of all of the celebs in practice and (dare I say it?) Ed Ball is looking pretty good. He's doing The Charleston and in time and keeping up with his partner.
Tonight will tell.

Balls, anthony... Zoe was told off by Ed in It Takes Two earlier this week. She is Ball. He is Balls. When she did the show a few years back she had a ball. Now Ed's having a go this year he could make a complete balls-up of it. Tonight will tell, as you say. (I agree- he looks okay. )

I'm still saying Naga and Melvin for the dance off. Lots of appealing dances this week, shaping it up to be a good season, I think.

My thoughts,
Ore was extremely good.
Despite the mistake, Tamika was excellent and lots of fun as was Will Young.
Leslie Joseph was soo much better than last week.
Still not sure about Laura and Daisy.
I also reckon Ed Balls (just) may have saved himself.
(I'm sure its not) but Danny Mac makes it look so easy.
If I had to predict I'd say the dance off will be between Melvin and Naga.

Naga is gorgeous but she's one of those who won't let it go. If she gets past this week she'll have ballroom which is probably better for her but another Latin and she's in trouble.
Full marks to Ed Balls for going with it.
Robert Rinder: Bored with him and his attitude already.the new Julienne McDonald. Not likeable. He's not a judge either, he's a barrister.
Ore, very confident and very sexy.
Will Young. What was that medic thing about? Attention seeker. Hated the jive too. Avoid horizontal stripes in future dear.
Speaking of which is Tess pregnant?

Yes Will Young was very floppy. Sometimes I think he thinks he's being funny, but he isn't.
Ore is very good looking but I didn't love his dance.
Poor Greg's bum!
I hope Anastacia is OK.

Loved Claudia and Danny this week. Don't get judges' love of Daisy. Best costume - Craig's shirt. Worst costume - Louise's dress.....ugh. I think Melvin and possibly Naga in trouble. Looooooong show! Still laughing at Judge's "If we drop them we have to pay for them!"

I feel sorry for Ed Balls- I think the judges tried to humiliate him tonight and it wasn't a nice sight. I thought he was far from the worst!
I've always had the inkling that Will Young is a bit of a diva and this show is starting to confirm it...
Already the judges' marks are all over the place- I felt they were far too lenient with Melvin who I predict will be leaving tonight.

A REALLY long show! How I hate the charade of the results being on Sunday night though, when everyone knows it's filmed after the show on Sat. It must have been a REALLY REALLY long show in actuality!

Welcome to the board missbabs Thank you! Lovely to be here Nice to find a place to discuss Strictly online. We've seen you once or twice before, misbabs, and then you've been gone for a while... Would you agree that we're badly in need of the Tip Top Tap for one of the professional showdances? Now that would be something! (And I reckon our Victoria would be chuffed!) I agree that Naga and Melvin could be in trouble... The "trouble" with these early-in-the-series shows is that they are sooo long. I've got three theatre trips planned for Saturday evenings over the course of the series, so I'll end up spending Sunday morning catching up (I don't allow myself to fast-forward!) before the results that evening. (I suppose there are worse things to complain about!)

'Before the Dawn' ranks a highlight of my life. I was thinking about VW and just how much I still can't believe that she has gone.

You are a Kate Bush fan too! Before The Dawn... I could not sleep the night before my first visit! I don't think I've ever been so excited in my life! Do you remember that Kate and Victoria shared the same sofa (with Lenny Henry) on the Aspel show?! I've been working my way through my VW collection. I watched Pat and Margaret the other day. Now that's a masterpiece! dinnerladies... another wonderful creation. The brass band playing Happy Birthday has me in tears every time. (And the use of the brass band to play the closing credit music is sheer genius!) I'm missing her more and more, as we now know we'll never see any more new work from her... A great loss indeed.

Out of the two Charlestons, I think that Tameka was better at it. Think Ed could be in trouble but I think Naga will be in the dance off.
Really like Danny, Tameka, Ore, Louise, Laura and Lesley.

BTD was just wonderful. A truly spellbinding experience. My friend and I didn't want to leave the theatre and just stay in that world she had created for us. Yes, I love that clip! Replace Lenny with Dolly Parton and you have my three idols in one place. Have you got her 'Screenplays' DVD? That's brilliant too. We lost a genius.

Well that was as hideous as expected. Poor Anastacia, she must feel terrible. Also sad for Melvin as he seemed like such a nice guy.
