YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES! I got tickets!!! After the 30th of LM last year I told myself i'd do anything to be present at Phantom's 30th as well. I had to rebook my flight (costs £48, although my original flight was £32 in total), and I'll miss a full day of holidays, but YES, as a big Celinde fan I couldn't be happier atm To make it complete you should've booked for the 10th of Wicked as well hahaha, no. It would have been nice for the stats, but I don't like Wicked that much, and how much 'groupie-phan' my post screamed, i am not an awkward SD girl, so I try to avoid Wicked were possible.

I was about to ask if Michael Crawford would be more involved in some sort of encore seeing as he couldn't sing at the 25th (due to just finishing a performance of The Wizard of Oz), but I totally forgot he's doing The Go-Between. Doesn't that finish on 8th October?

Having sligh remorse over not booking this when I had the chance but if I'd been even a few minutes late getting out of work I'd have missed it anyway. Best book the 35th off now

I wouldnt be suprised if Ramin/Michael both attend the 30th although they're scheduled in another show that night. They're already in town. During the 30th of LM, JOJ also made his way to the Queens although normally he was scheduled to play Phantom. Would be fun if they now invite Jeremy back at Phantom for the night. (throwback to WEL 2016, ever since that day I hope Peter will take over as Phantom in London one day!)

Managed to grab a couple. I've been keeping an eye out the last couple of days and seats keeping popping up on there so worth popping back on the site every now and then for anyone interested.

Have just got home from tonight's show. Was very excited to see the new cast and on the whole I had a great night - thought I'd post as I've not posted since this board was formed after Whatsonstage Forum finished!
The show is still magical, and I can't wait to be in the audience for the 30th Gala because I can only imagine it will be even better. Was lucky to be online when they announced the tickets on Twitter! The music still covers me in goosebumps, and it looks as stunning as always.
Ben Forster pleasantly surprised me. Having read a negative review on here a few weeks ago, I wasn't expecting much. I agree that he's a bit thin vocally, and the accent is weird at times. But ultimately, the final scene was heartbreaking and he was very sympathetic. You forgive the Phantom (character and actor) a lot if they can get you in that last scene.
Celinde Schoenmaker for me was a disappointment. She clearly has an incredible voice, but she was so laid back she was horizontal! Her facial expression never changed, and she never had any energy about her. From the stalls she just looked flat the whole way through. Because she's so tall, her lack of energy was even more obvious. I felt like her mind was elsewhere all night, and as a result, her acting choices seemed so odd (for example she giggled whilst saying 'Well father is dead Raoul' in the dressing room scene, like she just wasnt thinking about what she was saying). A big shame. Maybe it was an off night for her, or she wasn't feeling great. Will see when I'm back next Monday.
The rest of the cast were very solid. Nadim Naaman is a very likeable Raoul, and he has a brilliant voice. Raoul is so hard to get right but he is definitely the best I've seen in several years. Carlotta and the two Managers great too. Lots of great comic timing from all three.
Overall I had a lovely time. I just wish Celinde had been a bit more into the show! If she's on for the gala night it will be interesting to see if she has more about her knowing that there will probably be VIPs and former Christines in the audience!

Gala night is sold out online, do we think anymore tickets might go on sale? I wasn't quick enough off the mark!

Unbelievably we had another Bodyguard moment tonight at Phantom. Before the interval we had a literal showstopper and Ben Forster was swapped out for his understudy as Ben became indisposed. Hopefully everything is ok.

For anyone interested, about 10 or so £30 tickets are up on Really Useful for Monday's show right now.

Any chance that Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman will appear? Sarah is due to perform in a concert in Turkey on the 9th, so I doubt she will fly back to the UK the next day.
Sierra Boggess, from her twitter, seems to be taking part.

Not had a chance to post before now, but yesterday's Afternoon Edition show on BBC Five Live was backstage at Her Majesty's in the lead up to the 30th Anniversary. I didn't hear the whole show, but it included interviews with Cam Mac, Michael Crawford and Gillian Lynne, as well as with wigs, wardrobe, stage management, etc., and audience members during the matinee interval. Also mention of 40 people 'coming back' for Monday's gala and Dame Gillian having to teach them her new ending to Masquerade as their 'doing an extract'... even more excited than I was before now! Well worth catching on iPlayer: www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b07xf34l

Not seen Phantom live, on DVD yes, so I am looking forward to Monday - just got a £30 ticket. In so many ways, from what I've heard on youtube, I semi-wish Ben wasn't the Phantom, harsh I know, but he doesn't seem to engage like I imagine the Phantom should. However, I am going to go positively, and rather think that a live performance and the energy of the night might make things all the more special.

I know JOJ tweeted that he'd be in the audience, perhaps that's an indication he could be performing?

I'm surprised though this isn't a 7pm start if they're doing something after.

If it's anything like 'Les Mis' 30th then prepare for a late night - I think it was 11.30pm by the time I left!!
Enjoy the free Champers!!

Well I have found out I can't go, so please check the noticeboard. I've just followed all information on really useful about resale and contacting seetickets and I've just had the rudest man basically tell me straight up 'no', despite quoting to him what it said online. Any advice, can I go to the box office first thing tomorrow morning to put it up for resale there?

I'm surprised though this isn't a 7pm start if they're doing something after. It may be starting normal time so Michael Crawford can run over from The Go-Between for the finale?
