I’ve seen quite a few new cast members on social media say they are joining September 5th so I imagine the last performance before that will be a lot of the current casts final performance. By absolute coincidence he posted on Instagram, on the same day I posted on here, that his last show is Nov 26th. Thanks for your help though! Would anyone happen to know who performed the role of Elder McKinley tonight (5th June 2023)? It definitely wasn't Stevie Webb, but I thought whichever actor took over was brilliant. If anyone knows the answer to this question, I'd be really grateful if you could solve the mystery. I didn't have time to check the cast board on the way in to the theatre and the actor doesn't look like any of the swings on the website. Thanks in advance.

Stephen Rolley is first cover McKinley, I actually have seen him as McKinley more than Stevie Webb.

I really thought Stephen was terrific - great comedy timing and of course excellent vocal and dance skills. I do a bit of casting occasionally, so now I know who he is, he’ll definitely be on my radar.

Is this closing? Only booking until early October. No but they only release a few months tickets at a time to create a hype. Similar with Hamilton

I did catch the Friday matinee last week, which is the first time I've seen this for a few months. I've tried for Rush tickets, but they have moved to selling front row in advance, and this is selling well, so the prices have shot up all over. That's the first time I've managed to get a decent Rush seat (centre of Row F Stalls, which is a perfect view, and would be a premium ticket otherwise).
Ben Tyler was on as Elder Price, which is always a plus. First time seeing Connor Peirson as Elder Cunningham, and he is very good, but it's so odd not seeing Tom Xander. I don't think the Nigel Farage joke comes as naturally to Connor.
Otherwise, this is in good form. A lot of the swings were on. I did feel that some people had pushed up the overacting even more than usual, but it's that style of show. As usual, the people over 30 seemed to be finding it a lot funnier than younger people. Comedy tastes have changed!

I saw it on Friday and enjoyed it but not as much as in my previous visit.
Connor Peirson was ok but missed many laughs. His comic timing was a bit off. I guess he needs time to settle in the role. Stephen Rolley was on as Elder McKinley and he was excellent. Lots of swings on also, some better than others.

Was at yesterday's matinee. First time seeing the show since 2019, so the first time seeing the post pandemic changes.
Still really enjoyed the show. But I think half of Nabalungis humour has been taken by giving her an ipad instead of the typewriter. The only time it really worked was when she posted her play on Facebook.
Also is the show now sponsored by Facebook? I know the world basically revolves on social media these days, but mentioning it in nearly every scene seemed a bit much. I get that's the point, but still.
I'm also shocked that after all these years, people walked out offended during Hasa Diga. And to make it worse they were on the front row. Surely the show has a reputation by now.
Had an understudy on for Elder Price, Ben Tyler. Great in the role. Quite a few swings on as well for the other Mormons. But my main reason for going to was see Stevie Webb as McKinley before he leaves the show. He is an absolute scene stealer every time he was on the stage.
Originally tried the TodayTix rush, but was unsuccessful. Had a look at the shows website to see what else was available because I know TodayTix can sometimes have a handling fee. And decided against it as the only seats left were for £80-110. Happened to be in Liecester Square around 1.45, and just on a whim checked the website again and the seats had been reduced to £50. So booked it then and there because I had no other plans and just walked across to the theatre to take my seat. First time I've ever taken advantage of dynamic pricing.

Was at yesterday's matinee. First time seeing the show since 2019, so the first time seeing the post pandemic changes. Assuming this was the Friday matinee, I was also there. Ben Tyler tends to do that matinee and I prefer his Elder Price, so that's the show to go for, plus there isn't much competition for Friday matinees. I also missed out on Rush (well, strictly speaking, I was offered a seat at the back of the Stalls and turned that down). Instead, I got a dynamically priced front row Circle seat for under £30 direct from the DM website. Aisle seat with a very slight safety rail restriction. A bargain for a clear view and I could see all the lighting effects I'd forgotten about when sitting downstairs. Hadn't realised Stevie Webb was leaving. That's a shame. But I guess there has to come a point when you can no longer pass for 19!

But yeah, definitely preferred him to the last time I saw it with Dom. Definitely one of the best Elder Prices I've seen, although I haven't seen a bad one yet. Well I'm pretty sure Stevie is leaving, feel like it's a weird thing for me to just imagine. Pretty sure he announced it somewhere within the last month or 2.

When was the last cast change for this show?
I saw it last year and would go back but keen to catch new performers to make it feel like a more worthwhile return visit.

Some long runners leaving at the next cast change (though in about 10 visits since he’s been in the cast, I’ve only seen Webb twice!) - may be worth going back to see it again, having gotten a bit bored of it with the same principal cast staying for years. Will be interesting to see a new Price (and new McKinley).

Does anyone know what Dom Simpson has lined up after this, if anything? Always thought he was a much better actor and singer than this show to be honest. Would love to see him in something else.

Fairly open secret in the West End that he is joining MR as Christian from 16th October. Obviously awaiting the formal announcement, but it's all but been announced due to his agents confirming one of their clients is going to be London's Christian a couple of days after he announced his early departure from BoM. Especially as the only other clients on their books who have the potential to fill the role have already confirmed their commitments Have to say, I wholeheartedly agree. He is far more talented than the BoM and personally feel he should've moved on a couple of years ago. Not sure how he will cope with the MR score, and doubt he'll opt up, but I expect he will do very well in the role

I’m actually tempted to book to see him in MR when I’m in London in October if that’s the case. Never really been tempted with this show before but would love to see him in something completely different.

I have been told the MR cast change announcement is due shortly.

Perhaps he enjoyed being able to comfortably afford his rent and didn’t want to leave until finding the security of another ‘sure thing’. Hearty congrats to him if he has landed it. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

MR will certainly boost his profile
