Any idea on when they will be extending the booking period? Wanting to book for December. It usually happens every couple of months - I get the DMT+ presale so I'll post here when that opens up for December, to give a few days notice. Ahhh if you could that be great!! Thank you!

Caught up with BOM again and its as fresh as ever. The 2 cast members playing Elder Price and Elder Cunningham were really good and I think Elder Cunningham was the best I have seen. Couple of things went wrong which made it even funnier. The theatre really does have some of the best seats and the rake in the dress circle is amazing as even if the person in front of you was really tall you would still have a totally clear view of the stage.

I agree. I saw it two weeks ago and was very impressed that it still makes me laugh as much now as it did when I saw a preview. The leads are fabulous - I actually had a standby Elder Cunningham who was very very funny with a lot of little touches I hadn't seen before. Great to see it still going strong - remember all the doubters when it was first mentioned that this was coming over the pond?

Any idea why KJ is leaving in a month? Isn't that rather early? (See caption, not funny drawing. Or see the drawing and then the caption. ) http://instagram.com/p/BZeSLufAxX5

How do you read that as "I'm leaving in a month"? To me it reads as "over the last four weeks I've been drawing during the interval".

You know... I think you're right. Though I'm pretty sure I saw someone's instagram live last week of him doing one then.

I wonder if we'll finally have a brand new principal couple or they'll recycle someone else from tours or Broadway. Not complaining, I've always loved the actors they sent here, from Gavin Creel to KJ and almost same with Cunningham (I won't mane again the one I don't like ), but I believe we need someone new for once.

I think it's time for British actors to take the lead roles!

That's a shame. Was probably the best Cunningham I saw in London.

Oh that's sad. He is a fantastic Cunningham. Such a pity that he's never been the principal... need to try to catch him one last time then.

Oh that's sad. He is a fantastic Cunningham. Such a pity that he's never been the principal... need to try to catch him one last time then. We saw him on in the role last week and I agree, very funny in the part. A different portrayal from others that i've seen. Worth commenting that Elder Price was also understudied that evening and wasn't so strong...especially compared to Mr Hippensteel who I think is great in the part. Saying this the understudy was clearly younger and in time will likely grow into this role. Finally, and most unfortunately, last week's viewing was the weakest i've seen the production. I have seen the show on Broadway twice, National US Tour in Chicago and now twice in London and this cast felt a little unsure. Was there a recent cast change? I can't remember. The audience ate it up as always but many of what I think are the funniest and most heartfelt moments didn't land properly and were rushed past.

I wonder how well this will sell when it tours eventually (hopefully soon), do the general public know much about it ?

I wonder how well this will sell when it tours eventually (hopefully soon), do the general public know much about it ? very well I suspect, or at least that will be the hope of the producers. It's a well-known show and I would expect them to chuck a huge marketing spend behind it, as with when it first opened in London a couple of years ago. It's doing long sit-down runs in some of the bigger venues, which tends to suggest producer confidence.
