I hadn't realised Alex Jennings had been cast in this produciton.
But I thought the purpose of this production was to almost replicate the sets and costumes from the very first version? In that way, it's no surprise the set looks a bit dated.

I can't see anything wrong with this. It's My Fair Lady - it was hardly going to have a radical modern staging was it?
Plus it's only running for 2 months, then touring to other states in the new year. So needs to be packable. If that makes sense.
