I was watching Carrie's latest vlog earlier, the cast had an awards night with parody songs and in one of them there was a lyric about transferring to the Phoenix, could be nothing but thought I'd mention it! Lyric is at 5:30 Yeah West End Wilma picked up on the same thing on twitter and Carrie tweeted that it was completely wishful thinking, most likely a joke type thing!

I saw on twitter the other day that for the final weeks of the tour in Singapore Morticia is being played by Rebecca Thornhill, Fester by Cory English & the ballerina ancestor by Lavinia Fitzpatrick!

Just heard that another UK/IE tour of this is in development - surprising being that the last tour only finished a few months ago!

That I don’t know I’m afraid - this has come straight from Theatrical Rights Worldwide, who license the show and have simply said rights are again fully restricted in these territories due to an upcoming professional tour.

This is surprising. The last tour wasn't that long ago and I can only talk about Dublin but it really didn't sell that well. I saw it on a Saturday night and the theatre was only half full.

My daughter is doing this at uni at the end of the month, so they did well to get the rights in such a short window.

Yep, second tour is happening! Late 2018/early 2019 I believe is when it kicks off, so an announcement can't be too far away. Do you think Carrie will reprise her role as Wednesday?

Never in a million years I’d say! She gets on my nerves as she does many others on this board but there’s no denying she’s young and talented and will probably want to/be able to move on to new projects.

If they're doing another tour, hopefully they can actually bring it to the North East. Sunderland Empire or Theatre Royal, neither bothers me.
As much as I would like Carrie to reprise Wednesday so I could say I've seen her, I can think of so many better performers or give the opportunity to a fresh, ypung talent.

It was scheduled to come to Newcastle Theatre Royal last time but I can't remember if it actually happened.

The last tour was co-produced by Music & Lyrics, which is a consortium of the big non-ATG receiving houses. (Although there were a couple of ATG venues on the tour.)
Newcastle Theatre Royal is a consortium member, so perhaps there was a clash of dates, or something.

It's the same production. Music & Lyrics. Another UK tour will enable them to play another international production after it played Singapore last year.

She did Les Mis twice (as an adult and once as a child) and she's returning to War of the Worlds. So on the one hand, no, she's not above returning to a role if they offer it to her, but on the other hand, she'll be too busy with War of the Worlds to return to The Addams Family if all goes according to schedule.

Yeah but Les Mis is Les Mis!!! But true I guess it’s not out if the question her returning to Wednesday at some point.

When she won her Whats on Stage Award for Best Actress in a Musical though she thanked ML and expressed that she'd love to do the show again though.

...and she did WOTW on a break from Les Mis; she’d only need about a month off if that. Sounds like money for old rope to me. If they want to give it to her why not. She’s not Elphaba, Miss Honey or Sophie in Mamma Mia so that’s the W/E out of the picture. They really are the only roles that would suit (at a push) so she may aswell continue in her ‘dream’ role on tour.

They’ll easily star cast this again as that’s what got a lot of the views in last time. (Side note - I do wish I had access to all this top secret information because it would make me feel quite powerful)

I'd love for this to tour again because I heard really good things about it, and it looks like one of the better touring productions around, along with Miss Saigon, Wicked and Matilda.
