I'm fairly sure I saw Judge Rinder tonight at 'The Hills of California'. Well, I saw him moving through the crowd outside as the show let out, so I couldn't swear he was in attendance versus just walking past.

Janet Street Porter was in the audience of Rehab at Neon tonight.
She looked like she was cringing through most of the first act and left during the interval.
(The audience is in the round and she just happened to be sitting directly across from me, I wasn’t being weird!)

I saw Andy Serkis in the foyer of Ulster American, in the queue to buy some sweets. As he was one of the stars of that, could he not have asked someone working in there to go and get him some? 🥴 |

Everyone is responsible for the show being a success and job title shouldn’t matter. It’s not like Serkis is asking for a basket of puppies to play with, or being an entitled Pr**k. I would assume that 20 minutes before a show he’s got a bunch of stuff to do and that the show is somewhat predicated on him being ready to give his best performance. Wouldn’t anyone just muck in to make that happen? |

Everyone has their own jobs to do, there's usually a bit of downtime before the show, but you don't go wandering around the building to help the Star, just for the hell of it. If anyone is there to assist the Star then it's the Company Manager, who would talk to FoH to get something they wanted, it goes through channels. If the Company Manager found out he was FoH during the incoming he'd be for a talking to! |

Having never been a professional actor, I’d assumed that performance to an actor is the same as a big meeting to an exec. Consider me educated! I might start a thread about ‘misconceptions people who don’t work in theatre have about shows.’ |
