Being short-sighted, and not brilliant with faces, I never know for sure if I am actually seeing the person I think I am seeing. So take it with a pinch of salt, but I think Chiwetel Ejiofor was sitting, in the row right in front of me, with Frances Aaternir (stunning lady) at the Dorfman last Saturday, at the evening performance of Downstate. |

To cut a long story short, Gary Kemp was also at A German Life tonight. I wonder what the long version is! 🤔 I was hoping it might involve a three-way with Reece Shearsmith and Patricia Hodge. |

OMG. Direct from London's glittering West End, John Godber and Jane Thornton were at Three Emos in Doncaster last night. From the ridiculous to the sublime! I still can't believe they were sitting just to my right. Perhaps they know the writer/director...or maybe one of the cast.  |

Matt Lucas was at Carousel tonight. Saw him hanging around at the back of the Stalls chatting with someone afterwards, very visible but no one seemed to be bothering him.

This is a late one. However, seeing as tonight is the final Game of Thrones, it's apt. Jacob Anderson (Grey worm) and his wife Aisling Loftus at the Young Vic's sublime Jesus Hopped revival.

Starry Messenger press was the most celeb-stuffed theatre night I’ve ever been to, and the only celebs I saw were Biggins and the really camp one off Bake Off Extra Slice.
Phoebe WB got the biggest response!

Mary Berry at Les Mis several months ago: she was filming an episode about London theatres. Well, she didn’t stay for the show - just half an hour in the front stalls chatting to the camera, but it was fun to have a natter and a brief catch up,
