David Walliams and Gary Kemp at Pinter 2 last night. Pinter 2 is The Lover / The Collection. I saw David Walliams watching those same plays in the Pinter Theatre when it was on in 2008. He was there with Rafe Spall.

I'm at 'Company' now and we've just spotted the big lump of a chap from 'Pointless'. He's very tall. Comically he's with someone very small.

Marianne Elliott was also at Company tonight. With a woman in a cap. Does anyone still wear a cap? The woman in cap did not remove said cap. She would have if I'd been sat behind her. Voluntarily or not.

Dame Haydn Gwynne is at the Cockpit Theatre tonight for 'The Distance You Have Come'. She's looking fabulous. She said "excuse me" as she walked through the crowd, I stepped aside, she said "thank you". I think we had a connection. I shall step aside for her again.

Oh Ryan, I was there tonight to. Lots of familiar actor-y faces in the audience actually.

Scott Alan was also at 'The Distance You Have Come' last night. It's subtitled 'A Scott Alan Song Cycle' so it's not surprising.
When did he become a tattooed gym bunny though?

I once saw Nick Knowles and his latest ex-wife at the Bristol Hippodrome. Can't remember at which show, but she looked extremely bored, both with the show and him (this was before they married). Looked like a daughter who was forced to the theatre by her dad, not two lovers on date-night.
Bobby Davro at the same theatre at Blood Brothers in November 2008. He'd been in rehearsals for panto there.

Years ago I was in the same row as Simon Callow at the NT for Mother Clap's Molly House. I sat next to Virginia McKenna at the Barbican and saw Lauren Bacall at the Donmar. I think actors get cheap seats.

Went and saw Jane Fonda in conversation tonight at the BFI and saw the comedian Tom Allen in the foyer. Spoke to him has a selfie. Does that count?

At PORGY AND BESS last night, I saw Adrian Lester, Myleene Klass and the conductor David Charles Abell (not together).
Also, this doesn’t count, but saw Ian McKellen coming out of the Duke of York’s stage door across the road from the Coliseum. We must have finished at similar times.

Saw Robert Fairchild, from An American In Paris. Also watching was Anna Wintour, sunglasses in tow, and Sara Bareilles and the whole Waitress creative team at Company last night!
Makes me think that Waitress could be eyeing up Rosalie....

Vinette (Rosa Parks) Robinson at Joanna Lumley's show at the Palladium tonight, somewhat embarrassed by the lady who went up to her in the bar and asked where she knew her from.
Plus not in the audience but Vince Cable on my train home.
June Whitfield and David Walliams were also apparently there but we didn't see them.

Nick Hytner and Hugh Skinner in the bar at the Almeida after the Wild Duck matinee today, not sure if they had seen the show. I had to smile as there was a woman in the foyer at the same time unfolding her Brompton bike, I'm sure Skinner could have helped #W1A

Rosemary Harris was in the audience at this afternoon's performance of The Ferryman on Broadway. She's currently playing Mrs. Higgins in My Fair Lady at Lincoln Center Theater, so this rare Thursday matinee would have been one of her few opportunities to see another show. (I don't know why The Ferryman did a Thursday matinee this week only, when their usual schedule includes the conventional Wednesday matinee -- maybe something to do with Halloween having been yesterday?)

Not in the audience but I served Fiona Shaw (Harry Potter, Killing Eve) at work tonight and she was extremely lovely!
She had a half lager. Cheers to that.
