I'm not very good at recognising people but I think Stiles & Drewe may be at Showstopper tonight. If it is them I wonder if they're thinking "Why do we put in all that effort to write songs rather than hire a cast who make them up on the spot?"!

If it is them I wonder if they're thinking "Why do we put in all that effort to write songs rather than hire a cast who make them up on the spot?"! They actually do improv themselves. Was at a charity event years ago and they were on getting audience members to shout out words and they created a song from those words off the cuff.

^ Oh, right. I wonder if the songs they make up on the spot manage to be any more interesting than their Betty Blue score, which they must have spent months if not years on & I found completely forgettable, which hasn't made me rush to see their other shows. I did see them do a great turn as the Banks children at a charity concert a few years ago though!

Bit of "old news" but in September 2015 I saw Andrew Lloyd Webber couple of rows in front of me, at one of the previews of "Kinky Boots". At first, I was wondering why this "group of people" left just before the act 1 finished, and came back after the first song on act 2. Then I realised it's ALW. On his way out, he was chatting to Cameron Mackintosh.
I also saw Lesley Odom Jr at Cynthia Erivo's concert in Shoreditch Townhall.

Vanessa Redgrave at Hamlet at the Almeida. Studied her programme like she was going to be tested on it and didn't take her coat off. This theatre and trivia nerd got a kick out of her seeing the play that her birth was announced during.

I must apologize for my sloppy typing and not being fully awake! I meant Simon Callow not Simon Cowell. God knows why he was in my head!

I think us moderators should be meeting to decide how long to suspend bellboard27 for, for getting our hopes up to unsustainable levels
All ideas for sentencing are welcome.
Biggest failure since "La La Land" didn't win the Oscar.
Personally, I am utterly gutted that Cowell doesn't attend the ENO. It's not my fault - I was handed the wrong envelope.

I was handed the wrong envelope Should've passed it on to the person next to you to stitch them up, perhaps? I did look for you, honest!

Derek Jacobi at Travesties. He's very tall and much sexier than I had ever realised (I grew up with him as Cadfael-urgh)

He was very nice to a bold lady who spoke to him but if he was in the play I can see why people would Stage Door but when someone is on a night out I leave well alone.
