ceebee I think that could be very emotional indeed! Have a great time and please report back. Well, I've seen this production many times since it opened, but I think today's second half was the best I have ever seen them do it. They just found another gear and it was close to perfect. Love the fact this production has been getting tweaks throughout the run as it continues to be refined. Many of the cast were very emotional at the end, and why not? What a magical journey they have taken us on this summer, etched into my head and heart forever. An absolute unbridled joy. |

What a magical journey they have taken us on this summer, etched into my head and heart forever. An absolute unbridled joy. I was also there, for my third visit. Magical is exactly the word for this production, you could really feel the love from everyone involved and it was a privelege to see. |

I really hope that this happens - would be nice to see it do a short run in Chichester, back in to the Watermill for summer then perhaps off on its travels or even into London if it sells like it did this year. I would love for them to build a new venue (similiar to what CFT did with Barnum years ago) for this production...

But if it does go to Chichester, I'll make sure to head down there! |

And CFT would usually tease that something is being announced before doing so, surely?
It would seem a bit odd to have this appearing before the start of the next season (usually late March/April) because the weather wouldn't be ideal for the outdoors stuff.

Email from the Watermill yesterday stated they’d had over 17000 audience members come to see this. A phenomenal result for this tiny theatre. Well done .

If you look at the recent adverts for Watermill jobs, reading between the lines I see this returning for an extended run in more than one theatre. If I was a betting man I'd say (in no particular order) Watermill, Chichester, Regent's Park.

I would love to get the chance to see this production again. Whether that means making another trip down to Newbury or elsewhere, I'd be more than happy to do so! Here's hoping it pops up again somewhere.
