Which would you go for if you had one slot available? I can't decide.

The Fear of 13 seems like more an event, Brody and the Donmar combined together. I suspect, and hope, that Brace Brace will have a future life with a re-write but similar staging. I think the reviews may have pointed to that - could be wishful thinking though.

Which would you go for if you had one slot available? I can't decide. The Fear of 13 Brace Brace Fawlty Towers Adrien Brody in "The Fear of 13" should not be missed. An event, like Dave B says. I saw it last night, and it's much more emotional than the documentary it's based on. "Fawlty Towers" is very funny but so are a lot of things. And something that funny is bound to repeat.

Hands down The Fear of 13. It's not only an'event' - a high-profile Hollywood actor gracing London stage sort of thing, it's a rare opportunity to see someone you only get to see on screen, an amazing versatile genuinely talented actor (Hollywood or not) in a tiny space in a gripping story. But of course depends on whether you like Brody or gripping per se.
My second choice would be Brace Brace.
I know how excruciating these choices sometimes ae so I feel for you. Have to make them almost each trip cause timeis v limited.

I would put Fear of 13 at the bottom
Totally unnecessary onstage
Lacks nuance and has broad stereotyped acting
Found it utterly embarrassing to watch quite frankly
I don’t consider it an event in any way shape or form as the writing is so terrible and much of the acting is so bad and larger than life
Brace Brace is by far a more interesting evening
High profile actors are on London stages all the time
10 a penny, even Hollywood “stars”
I think the term “event” theatre should be used more parsimoniously and perhaps reserved for a situation where the said star also chooses material which is earth shattering unique and challenging
