In hindsight it's hard to believe that Ferris Bueller and the original Broadway Leo Bloom are the same person.

Broderick always nails it in the clips I’ve seen, and as unbearable as he was in London in ‘04, Lane did at least know his character. There definitely needs to be an element of sweetness to Bloom rather than just slapstick & mugging. It took everything I had not to climb down from the front row of the balcony and shake Evans. Jesus man, just dial it all down several (hundred) notches!

Single bank of seats for this one. Most seats are £40.75 during previews, £60.25 thereafter. Almost all seats currently available, apart from some pairs at the extreme sides near the front, are the same price.

May I suggest the environment (amongst other things) of the Donmar is markedly different to the Menier which will always be a "glorified" ( or not as in its current state) fringe venue.

Daylight robbery. This is one of those shows I’ve never seen nor film; but hard pass from me.

Menier has also produced some of the best musical revivals of the last 15 years though so like...it's doing something right.

Yes - same layout as things like Funny Girl and She Loves Me

£60 for a great view anywhere in the house for a production with some promise like this isn't the worst, especially compared to what £60 gets you for some other WE shows in slightly bigger theatres.
Anyways, this is likely to go on sale on TodayTix down the line. It'll be fiiiine.

The benches really are not that uncomfortable... I've sat in way worse seats in west end houses.

Must admit I don't have much issue with the Menier bench seating either. I've been to 3-4 shows there and it's never really crossed my mind until coming on to this board... also, I'm cautiously very excited for this production!

The Menier benches are surprisingly comfy. The only problem is that they seat about 2-3 more people on a row than they should. It’s like sardines in the winter when everyone has their coats.

I also don't think they are bad either, decent padding and the leg room is fine. I've sat in many more uncomfortable seats in West end theatres. The main issue is too many people per row especially if you are of a larger size or sitting next to someone who is. Maybe by reducing the row capacity by 2 would help but then you will have a lot of lost revenue.

Yup, reduce each row by 2 seats and open up a restaurant to make up for the shortfall. That would be a perfick solution

Has anyone who registered to join the mailing list received an e mail with link for tomorrow's pre sale?

If there’s a code for a presale, I’d be very appreciative if someone would pass it on.
