I've sent in an audition tape TallPaul . I am just waiting back to hear back from them! I thought you were offer only? I've had to change my approach. Apparently I'm up against some top talent for the role - Christopher Biggins and Peter Andre have chucked their names into the hat as well.

Does this sort of comedy resonate with audiences today?
I thought it was amusing but on the cusp of heading out of fashion when was at Drury Lane. Just not convinced will work with modern sensibilities. Mind you, size of the Menier they can sell out easily just with fans of the original so guess it isn't like a West End revival and doesn't need a new audience.
I didn't find Young Frankenstein remotely funny (though may have 15 years previously); that said was surrounded by people laughing their heads off so what do I know!

I believe it will work well in a small venue. I’d like to see Ulla played by a trans performer. The dynamics would be electric imho.

Mr. B already said it wasn't him...it begins with an Ma... I was thinking Matt Seadon-Young? He would be excellent.

I suggested Matthew Seadon-Young a couple of pages back. I have a feeling it will be Marcus Brigstocke as Mr B said he was younger, dark hair and talented (and I think there is a hint of sarcasm there).

Assuming it’s someone who hasn’t been named yet, the only name I can only think of Marc Antolin.
Looking at his Instagram the MCF is near the top of people he follows, so doesn’t that mean he’s added them fairly recently?

Do we know that's it's definitely someone who's first name starts with MA and not their surname?

(Not really, you guessed him).

I would pay big money to see Michael Xavier play Leo Bloom, but for all the wrong reasons. In my opinion, Lee Evans in the Drury Lane production was a massive miscast, but Michael Xavier would be off the scale.

I’m still racking my brains as to who it might be.
The clues aren’t helping much
I’ve narrowed it down to either Mark Hamill, Mark Wahlberg, Mark Twain, Matthew Kelly or Mark Zuckerberg
Hopefully we find out soon
