Seems it be held on Saturday 18th May 2024.
Organised by theatrical charity Acting for Others, the West End Flea Market 2024 will take place on Saturday 18 May from 10am to 2pm at the Actors’ Church – St Paul’s Church and Churchyard, Covent Garden.
Last year proved a big success for the charity, raising more than £70,000 for the event, which is now in its fourth year.
150 early bird tickets to get entry to both the Flea and a prize draw are going to be available for £15.
At the Flea, West End shows set up stalls offering theatrical memorabilia, signed items, and the chance for selfies and autographs.
Also back for this year will be the autograph marquee inside the church, which costs £10 to enter and includes a free West End Flea Market 2024 poster!
Last year’s West End Flea Market saw Best Dressed Stall judges include Michael Ball, Christopher Biggins and Arlene Phillips. Shows attending or donating included Back to the Future, Disney on Stage, the Menier Chocolate Factory, Hamilton, Jersey Boys, Les Misérables, Mamma Mia!, Moulin Rouge The Musical, The Phantom of The Opera, The Rocky Horror Show, SIX the Musical, The Book of Mormon, The Mousetrap, and The Play That Goes Wrong.

I always find it best to turn up with a plan.
If you're after specific memorabilia, then hit that stall first, then go back and browse.
If you're after posters, I would also recommend that you turn with with a cardboard postal tube.

I wish they would announce the date a longer while ahead, I keep missing it because I have to plan my London trips a few months ahead. I'm already booked for the Broadway Flea Market in September, because THEY announce the date a long time ahead.

A large, long queue- however not as long as West End Live. Be prepared for a lot of tourist and others asking "What's gong on?" and "What's the queue/What are you queueing for?" Be prepared also for several well built guys- some with back hair- dragged up as Madme. Twinky. Also a lot of stagey youth; alas some are pretentious! |

Well that wasn’t as manic as I thought it would be. A fun morning at the market with plenty of money raised for charity as well. I ended up with a signed Mind Mangler programme. Great to see lots of folk supporting this event. I’d definitely do this one again in the future.

Praise the Theatre Gods that he rain held off.
This is a pretty popular event and if truth be known, I think it's outgrown the amount of space that it has.
Each stall is judged (not sure what the judging criteria is) and this years judges were (you guessed it) Biggins and Harriet Thorpe, who is currently playing the landlady at the The Old Vic in EastEnders.
Although I didn't see Harriet Thorpe, I did see Biggins who I thought was looking frail. I don't know this man's age or state of health but he's clearly lost a lot of weight and, as I say, noticeably frail. He's normally so bumptious! I hope that he's okay.
I believe the winning stall this year was for The Mousetrap.
The most popular stalls appeared to be Les Mis, Phantom and Mamma Mia!
In most cases there are cast dressed either in costume- Mamma Mai!, Moulin Rouge- or T-sh*ts with the show's logo on it.
As the who thing is for charity, credit to each cast members for trying to keep the punters around theirs stalls engaged and spending. Especially when they all had to leave by a certain time in order to get back to their respective theatres and into costume/wigs and make-up for the Saturday matinee.
Despite various attempts to do so, I couldn't get anywhere near the theatre programmes stall. I did pick up a swag of posters though, which is one of the main reasons for me heading down there. Unfortunately, I purchased a bit too much; sigh!
I also got to get a close up look at the Zazu puppet from The Lion King and see the giraffe's helmet head.
I saw Jak Malone (and is small dog) signing Operation Mincemeat merchandise- Jak that is, NOT his small dog!.
Ruth Jones, Clive Rowe, Lesley Joseph and Carl Mullaney from Sister Act were all there in costume promoting Sister Act.
'Mystic' Su Pollard had a stall reading palms or tarot cards.
John Robyns- the current Phantom was there. Leonard Cook- the current Buquet sold me a poster. Also I caught up with Hywel Dowsell who I now personally and currently plays Don Attilio.
Although I was by myself, I also saw a lot of regular people who I normally see at these events including Mickey-Jo Theatre, who I spoke to.
It the kind of event where you walk in with a wad full of cash to get some exclusive bargains, like signed theatre posters and merchandise.
