Hi,
The last two weeks, for the first time I tried the Friday Rush @ The National.
Both times I've selected a Saturday performance of Till the Stars Come Down, and both times I've been in position 1100+.
I'm suspecting this could be two fold - I've selected a Saturday performance and a show nearing the end of it's run.
Midweek is out for me unfortunately.
I just wondered if there was a trick to getting a little (ok a lot) nearer the front of the queue?
Last Friday I'm sure I was in position 900 before it jumped to 1100. My eyes must have been playing tricks as surely people can't push in a virtual queue!
Thanks for any guidance, but I'm somewhat resigned to just trying again this Friday with everything crossed.

I just wondered if there was a trick to getting a little (ok a lot) nearer the front of the queue? Multiple devices. Phone, tablet and laptop etc. Anything with a queue that we are really keen on will have my partner and I queueing on whatever devices we have to hand and shouting out our queue numbers across our flat as we see them.

I got tickets for Till The Stars Come Down for last Monday via Friday Rush - side high chair seats in the circle (restricted view, but in reality not very restricted). On opting for the Monday performance I joined the queue at somewhere in the 30s. I didn't realise that there were separate queues depending on which performance you chose - I thought that was just a way in and that you could then choose different performances. I didn't try moving around as Monday was the day which suited us. So much of where you get in is clearly down to luck. So all I can do is wish you the best of luck when you try this week.

Also worth always checking the show date, the National always gets return tickets nearer the time

I tried pasting the same link on Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Firefox, on the same laptop, and I got a different queue position on each browser. I closed the 2 with the higher number and got a ticket that way.
