The New York dates have been revised (now a 5-week run, instead of 8 weeks), and Christina Bennington and Danielle Steers are joining Andrew in the cast (replacing Emily Schultheis and Harper Miles) Lulu Lloyd is also no longer playing Sloane, replacement hasn't been announced yet though. Looks like it will go ahead though! www.playbill.com/article/new-york-run-of-bat-out-of-hell-sets-new-dates

I have no idea how it's meant to work in an arena seating 20,000 - that's just insane. However, IF it does work well, I could see them continue the tour in other countries and come back to Europe. Might be better this way as a tour than trying for regular productions that don't sell.

Could easily be the Oz tour again, but I can’t help hoping it’ll be the rumoured UK tour for next year...

If this is a UK tour, it needs to be good. Flying bike, pyrotechnics, big cast, the car. All of that. I think it needs to be in arenas. Going into smaller theatres around the UK would just ruin the spectacle of the show.

The Australian "arena tour" is pretty short - considering it would have to be an amazing and thus expensive spectacle to impress in those venues, I'm quite certain that it will continue beyond Australia. Maybe UK, maybe US, maybe... who knows. Still, I'll be perched on Twitter at 11am...

I'm not sure. Compared to the Dominion, they are obviously not going to be able to fit everything on stage at these regional theatres. But, it is doing sit downs longer than a week, so there might be some hope? Also, do we know who is producing this? If it's Phil McIntyre...

Danielle Steers has confirmed she won't be Zahara. Not that I was expecting it; I'd like to see a fresh cast get a shot. Although I did adore Danielle's vocals.
