Before booking my ticket I just want to check, is there any liquid thrown or splashed into the front stalls? Thanks. You'll possibly be splashed by water if you sit in the first couple of rows on left hand side.

Thank you. I'm totally fine with paper, confetti etc just not anything wet.

Thank you for posting that offer ncbears . Thinking about booking a front row seat for this too. I'm quite curious about this show, sounds mad but also like a good time. 😄
These people will like what they've announced this morning: Bat Out Of Hell singalong performances

"If you fancy a sing along I would strongly recommend waiting until the show tours!"
Oh jesus.

I wonder if the sing along performances are a success, other jukebox musicals like Mamma Mia! and Mowtown might do similar performances?

Was gonna re-visit Saturday. Then realised Danielle was off so that idea died fast. Her performance makes up for Christina's, so I dress to think what the show is like without her.

I saw Emily Benjamin as Zahara and she was very good - what's wrong with Christina's performance?

This will only encourage people to behave like idiots at other shows too. I'm old fashioned for 22 and must sound like a snob but it sounds like a bad idea to me.

I particularly liked “The audience will not be able to sing along to all the songs – the lyrics for these songs will not appear on the surtitle screen” like that’s going to stop the hardcore fans!

I saw Emily Benjamin as Zahara and she was very good - what's wrong with Christina's performance? I would certainly be intrigued to see Danielle's understudy, of intrigue over anything. Christina's performance, for me personally (I realise I may be in the minority), was kind of, well, embarrassing. All she did was screech and roll about on the floor. It was like watching an 11 year old attempting their way through a school play. I'd be interested to see an understudy for her, to see if its her or just the direction. But to balance out her with Danielle and Sharon, the latter two were fabulous!

From experience you don't need to announce performances for Mamma Mia to sing-a-long, they do anyway regardless, the audience confuse the slogan 'somewhere in the audience is you' to somewhere in the audience you can make your neighbour a misery'.
Great show, but not when people need to sing.

I wonder if this will mean some added fourth wall breaking. I don't know the show so unsure if there is any already.
Handy for a bit of vocal rest!

As it happens, I have seen Christina twice and she was vocally impressive on both occasions.

And she shows up to work, and there is alot to be said for that these days.

Did someone say a while back that there's a cast change in October? Do we think most of the cast will leave as the majority of them have been doing it since Manchester? Would love to see Ashleigh Gray take over as Sloane, although I get the feeling Kerry Ellis is going to claw her way all over that role given half a chance

A friend took me to see this last night and it was enjoyable. There was lots of energy on stage and fantastic special effects. All the Jim Steinman's classics were delivered brilliantly by the talented cast, but the story line is so boring and the book is so poorly written that you just wish you could forward quickly to the next song. It's a fun night out though.
The theatre wasn't very full though. I know the Dominion is massive but Stalls was only 50% full, maybe a bit more. Don't know how busy the Circle was.

The Stage is doing a poll on Instagram on whether more musicals should hold singalong performances. Currently 51% saying yes and 49% saying no.

I can see it working for jukebox musicals, but I see no need for other musicals to have a singalong performance.

In a way it could be good to have, say one show a week specifically singalong, to make it clear the other nights are NOT.
