Costs about a tenner.
I have attended the last two. They're lots of fun and there's usually quite a good turn out.
You can but food and drinks from the cafe.
It states till 11pm but the last two have ended at about 10ish.
Wanna form a team? I will be there. If so, just book yourself on and let me know.
If not, I will just go and join another team as I have the last two times.
Team names- I'm thinking one of the following:
Little Shop of Quizzers; or
The 25th Annual Putnam County Quizzing Bee.
Maybe you can thing of something more creative?

I did one of these a few years ago when the Theatre Cafe was in Shaftsbury Ave. We had a theatreboard team (complete with badges). Didn't win but neither did we disgrace ourselves.
A lot of the questions though were about American teenage musicals and I'm more old school.
I think the team who won were female school children.

Looks like the landlords have repossessed the Theatre Cafe and it's closed.
Such a shame.

As you may be aware, due to unforeseen circumstances, we are no longer able to host the quiz at The Theatre Cafe.
Though we are pleased to announce the quiz will still be taking place at The Theatre Cafe Diner. Please arrive from 7:45pm.

An update. This went ahead as planned last night.
Quite an impressive turn out! At a guestimate I'd say about 60+ people.
I actually joined a group who I recognised from last month. Very friendly people.
They came last when it was held last month but with my input we came third!

But in the do hold one in January, then I'll be there. Unless it's held in late March, then I won't be there till April I'm afraid! |

This was held last Friday at the Theatre Diner- upstairs this time.
To date, this was the largest gathering so far. There were (unbelievably) 14 teams and over 60 people!
Last time with my help, the team I joined came third. This time round the team I joined came second. It seems I know my musical theatre stuff!
I won't be able to attend in February as I'll be back in Australia and March, it will just depend when it's being held; if it's sometime in the second or third week, then I'll probably be there.
Everyone it welcome. It's lots of fun!

I have been home in Australia for the past six weeks, returning about two weeks ago.
Last night was the first Musical Theatre Quiz since I've returned. It was Disney themed.
It was maximum capacity with 18 teams in total.
We came 4th! Not bad I think.

This was held again last night.
Again, maximum capacity; this time with a nod to the recent Olivier Awards.
When the play a snippet of a song to guess the show (relatively easy) and then the year that it opened of either Broadway, or the West End- that's hard!
Group sizes vary. There are young and old.
Throughout the rounds the staff at the Theatre Diner sing.
(I think) we came about fifth or sixth, so slipped down from last month.

Is it a ‘first Friday in the month’ type affair? I think it's actually the last. He announced the date of the next one, but I can't remember. As soon as I know, I will post the date. On Friday night we has a group in who were visiting London from Manchester! |

This was on again last night.
Again, a sold out event.
We came third!
Next quiz will be held on 28th June and will be a Pride edition.
