That was my thoughts too! With maybe an oasis style scramble for 2 tickets in the toilets to listen in!

I wonder if the show promoters will announce a simultaneous opening at the Walnut Street Theatre, Philadelphia?

It'll do well commercially. It's not very good as an actual musical, but I guess it's a fun night out.

Thoughts and prayers for the front of house staff (especially at weekends).

I never asked at the time…is it just glorified tribute performances hung together by some people attending/getting to ‘Live Aid’?

It's storytelling bound together with some fantastic vocals/orchestrations. I just hope they can pull an equally strong cast together again.

It’s patronising shonky nonsense padded with some random off shoot stories and some great songs sung like it’s karaoke by a bunch of over-emoting stage school graduates

I really enjoyed the music (though would have liked a lot of the songs to be longer) and look forward to the OLC!

I really enjoyed the music (though would have liked a lot of the songs to be longer) and look forward to the OLC! Fantastic show - the ronseal of jukebox musicals. Every time I saw it, most people were having a fantastic time. At least those who hated it first time round know to steer well clear this time.

Bob Geldof and Craige Els will be Chris Evans' guests on Virgin Radio on Monday so that confirms he'll be returning to the show.

I’m the first to complain about jukebox bad behaviour, but have to say they were fine at this. Very enthusiastic and having fun but deffo didn’t cross the line in the way you get at some of the hen party shows!

That had a lot to do with the fact the show was at the Old Vic, which attracts largely a different audience than your 'standard theatre audience' in the West End.
Audiences for this will undoubtedly be appalling (as they are for a lot of these type of shows) - sorry if that makes me elitist or something but it's true...
