Another case in point.
Yet it still commands one of the highest average ticket prices on Broadway. So it is successful. As in the public are wiling to pay top dollar to see it! And are doing so.
(I mean if you read BWW you’d literally think this was running at 50% capacity with a 40 dollar average ticket price - it’s quite baffling!)

I enjoyed it on Broadway but not as much as in London, the theatre is too big a space and unless you pay big bucks for a seat next to the stage, you just don't get the same intimate feel as you do at the Playhouse. I had seats in the mid-mezzanine and never had the feeling that I was anywhere other than in a theatre whereas the previous Studio 54 production felt more connected and cabaret-like.
