No, I haven't seen it yet and was wondering whether anyone else had, or planned to - or would admit it if so! Seriously, it couldn't be inferior to Greatest Days, could it? A new cinema has opened near me and though I could see this "free" at a Curzon, as I'm not in London again for a week, I'm considering taking advantage of the opening offer of £5 tix for the first fortnight at the Light.

I saw a preview last week and enjoyed it, but I also enjoyed Greatest Days. Both 4-star for me.
It's laugh-out-loud funny in places, and has the anarchic vibe of Risky Business and Ferris Bueller. (They even recreate a scene from the latter right at the end, this time with Matthew Broderick as the parent.)
No Hard Feelings is quite a bland title; the film ought more accurately to be called Predatory Female. If genders were reversed, it would not have been made.

Thank you mkb and that's encouraging as though I know you enjoyed GD whereas I didn't, tastes vary and at least this film sounds a little punchier so I'll give it a go. I do take your point about gender reversal and wonder why depicting a predatory relationship either way round is still considered OK, but I suppose it depends on the treatment, so I'll wait to see.

I disagree that Maddie, J-Law's character is predatory. The sole reason she decide to answer the ad is because she was desperate to make money.

I disagree that Maddie, J-Law's character is predatory. The sole reason she decide to answer the ad is because she was desperate to make money. It depends on whether you think predatory behaviour is characterised by actions or also requires motive. I didn't describe her as a sexual predator as it's clear that's not her motivation, but she does go through the motions of doing everything possible to have sex with the teenager.

Well, for me this was definitely far more enjoyable than Greatest Days; I laughed quite a lot and certainly wasn't in the least bored or feeling I could have made better use of my time. Though I was shocked afterwards, catchng the start of the credits as I was leaving, to realise that I had seen Mathew Broderick without recognising him.
