George Logan / Dr Evadne Hinge

Those of us over a certain age will recall the genius drag act of Hinge and Bracket, with two gents convincing huge swathes of people that they really were two old dears who had formerly been in the world of opera. Dame Hilda Bracket (Patrick Fyffe) died 23 years ago but the pianist Dr Evadne Hinge (George Logan) died today at the age of 78. Their numerous TV, radio and stage appearances included several West End runs in the 70s and 80s, several plays (Importance of Being Earnest, Lettuce & Lovage) and umpteen pantos. Great talents.
