I'm torn on it - I'm not sure I approve of Nicole, but she does have a beautiful voice and will probably do well enough on the back of that to be worth a ticket, even if she can't act it (and hey, maybe she can). I doubt she'll have anyone leaving at the interval! I just wish she was ten years older. I think for me I need to see what the overall production is like. I'm one of the few who actually liked the actor/musician one from a while back (and you won't normally hear me say I liked one of those!) but this time I think I just want SUNSET BOULEVARD. Big, shiny, massive sets, ornate costumes. A car on stage. Maybe not a real monkey corpse, though. Sunset Boulevard in its original form is never going to happen again, it lost a lot of money for ALW. |

Does anyone know the exact dates for the run? My guess would be that it’ll open mid-Sept so that the 16 weeks run through to the first week of Jan, but no, that info hasn’t been confirmed yet. |

So announced two weeks ago today, still not onsale or any dates confirmed… what’s going on? Seems they’ll lose the initial interest the announcement sparked…

I wonder if this would have been announced if they'd waited to see how 'Aspects Of Love' went. Totally different shows, but IF this staging is to be something radical from Jamie Lloyd it really doesn't feel like the moment.
Different thread, but ditch any ideas for 'Love Never Dies' beyond the concert.

Different thread, but ditch any ideas for 'Love Never Dies' beyond the concert. Love Never Dies has just put out a casting call for Gustav (suggesting they already have their Phantom and Christine) for a World Tour. I also imagine that they were expecting lukewarm reviews for AoL (which on balance, they were very mixed really) and on top of that, the 2017 UK tour performed well enough, as did the the Broadway production (seems it averaged about 85% capacity?) Reckon Scherzinger will be enough to bring people in. |

We're still waiting for an announcement of an Aspects cast recording, but - given the involvement of NS - I'm guessing we're guaranteed one for this. Or an EP of the main songs at least.

Sadly I missed him in the tour as he was also in panto at the same time and had some time out of the Sunset tour to fit that in, which unfortunately clashed with the Mayflower dates. He’s certainly handsome enough to play opposite Nicole! |

Similar actually, I saw it in Southampton when he was not in it, but luckily caught him later in Wimbledon - with seats much closer to the stage too! |
