It's a pity they don't have posters. I don’t understand why posters aren’t standard merch anymore. Surely they were money for old rope for the producers!

How I’m going to not look at this thread for an entire week is anyone’s guess, but until next Thurs evening, over and out! I can’t avoid the thread for 6 weeks! Curse my busy autumn. Got 3 bookings so will make up for it (initial one first then a key worker front row each for Rachel and Nicole)

They cut lady's paying and trimmed down this time next year Well we guessed the former when the tailor character wasn't in the cast list

I love Sunset Blvd and am excited about this production but the logo and merch are BAD...there is no design or imagination. A random black item of clothes with red Sunset Blvd in Arial text isn't my idea of creative or clever. It is BORNING

I hate it. Everyone in black and white t-shirts and shorts. No set, no props, busy scenes done in a line with everyone talking to the front. Can’t process everything at the moment, I’m so angry. Orchestra and score are beautiful thankfully. It’s just totally butchered.

How do they create drama for Norma’s first appearance?

How do they create drama for Norma’s first appearance? They don't. She's sitting with her back to the audience from moment one, then she turns and walks front stage

Friend at the performance (who happened to be the original London cast, so maybe a bit biased) says it’s hideous.

If you're referring to ATG venues, they're obviously not in charge of the merchandise.

So someone has voted 3/5 after one half? Really?!
EDIT: must have been accidental as score is now removed.

Does seem to just be down to who they go with as merchandise supplier now, appears that Theatre Shop/Global Merchandise Group don't really do any posters only current production they appear to do a poster for is Mamma Mia.
ALL does appear to have had a poster released, at least for the pinter run available through CreativeGoodsInc/West End Merchandise Shop.
Was sort of hoping that the Sunset merch would be by Araca or Creative Goods as the GMG merchandise isn't always the best.

I’ll post a full review from the first preview tomorrow, but I just had to share that a star was truly born tonight in Tom Francis. The staging of the title song ‘Sunset Boulevard’ and his performance of it was one of the most impressive things I’ve ever seen in a theatre. This alone is worth the ticket price and received a standing ovation.
