Is there a list of the videos somewhere? Looked through the events and couldn’t see anything about archive videos - thx Not sure about a list, but the screenings are indicated by "NVAP" (not sure what that stands for) at the front of the title. Edit: There appears to be the following: - The Band's Visit (Donmar Warehouse, 2022)
- Tokyo Rose (Southwark Playhouse, 2021)
- Caroline, or Change (Playhouse Theatre, 2019)
- The Colour Purple (Leicester, 2019)
- Gypsy (Savoy Theatre, 2015)
- The Scottsboro Boys (Garrick Theatre, 2015)
- American Psycho (Almeida, 2014)
- Billy Elliot (Palace Theatre, 2008)
Also: "The archive now holds over 450 high-quality archival multi-camera recordings of live performance in Britain and continues to record and preserve productions for the national collection. The archive, launched with Richard Eyre’s production of Richard III starring Ian McKellen (National Theatre, 1992)... When V&A East opens in 2024 all the recordings will be available for the public to view in a brand-new facility."

I appreciate that this is free however as I am very interested in seeing The Band's Visit, I sent them an email in terms of ticketing.
This was their response:
Glad to hear your interest in attending this screen as part of the Performance Festival.
Seats will be granted on a first come first served basis. As such we recommend arriving ahead of time to secure a place.

I just asked in The Band’s Visit thread if anyone knew if the screening scheduled for 30th April is still going ahead as they appear to have taken the listing down from their website. One can hope they are working on ticketing it, but it may have been pulled for other reasons. I was really looking forward to it.

They aren’t ticketing any of it are they? Just 120 seats on a first come first served basis. I can’t really risk a 150 minute journey on the hope that there is still space. I’d be happier to pay for tickets and know I’m getting in.

They’re not going to replace the cancelled three with something else?

I think they realised their mistake in not taking ‘demand’ into account, whilst not santing to havr to pay for more staff/security when it all kicks off.

They’re not going to replace the cancelled three with something else? I had a direct link for the American Psycho page and it is now showing as this:https://www.vam.ac.uk/event/DLeaz7rNPL/american-psycho-a-nvap-musical-matinee Join us to watch the sensational Josephine and I. In her debut play with live music and dance, Cush Jumbo stars as international icon Josephine Baker. This production was directed by Phyllida Lloyd at the Bush Theatre, London and recorded by the V&A in August 2013. This screening is 105 minutes long. Please note, NVAP's are subject to last minute changes.
