Interesting that Millenials is also back and active on socials after a few teasers. Would be really interesting to see a future life for it, in a bigger venue ideally.

They’ve been posting teasers and trailers on social media for a few months now, particularly over on TikTok.. I wonder when we’re going to hear something from them?

Does anyone actually know which musical is apparently going into the Pinter then? So we don't have to endure Shaun Tossell going 'no, not any of those' for days on end.

I haven't read anything anywhere in this case so I have no idea.
I'd quite like a new show to go in there. Ride would be quite good.

Another week, another solo NT announcement! Not sure I like the drip drip (though of course awjc has been spot on here!) and I at least would prefer a full season announcement. Perhaps more press interest and more marketing if it gets a longer run of stories.

Any TRDL updates? I've heard talk something has been booked in for after Elf, but I wanted to know if anyone here has heard anything in support or on the contrary. All the Pippin talk has me thinking of this theatre. It's one I love a lot

Post Guys & Dolls, Bridge Theatre are planning Magic by David Haig (possibly directed by Hytner). It's listed as a commission in Haig's bio inside the Minority Report programme.

This was published in September 2023 -
David Haig to write new play Magic for the Bridge Theatre Award-winning actor and writer David Haig (Minority Report, My Boy Jack) is working on a brand new play for Nicholas Hytner at the Bridge Theatre.
Titled Magic, the play is a new commission for the Bridge Theatre in London, and is about the relationship between Harry Houdini and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

Some of the recent West End announcements have been really underwhelming. This is definitely not a vintage year for the West End. Very few exciting play announcements.

The only excitement I'm feeling that has me thinking daily about shows are for rumoured shows, when there's more rumoured shows I wanna see than shows announced, it feels quite sad!

There have been some great announcements including transfers for Red Pitch and Boys from the Blackstuff, and returns for For Black Boys... and People, Places & Things, and some nice new musicals, but overall, a bit disappointing. Too many poor fillers.

Too many poor fillers. There's still shows coming in the Autumn like Oedipus, Dr Strangelove, Waiting for Godot, Oliver! and Titanique plus shows yet to open soon like Fawlty Towers, Romeo and Juliet, Mean Girls Slave Play and Hello Dolly! Two filler shows is not that bad in the grand scheme of things.

I wonder if there's gonna be some new, prominently in the round shows going in there that needed the space to be updated

Had really hoped that a transfer for Till the Stars Come Down would have been announced with the new NT season. I hope it will still do so.

It says on NT at Home that it will be streaming soon. That, and the lack of announcement today, suggests to me there won't be a transfer.
And yet, there are some social media handles in place which point to a further life and it was one of the NT's best reviewed shows in ages, with 2 Olivier nominations including Best Play, so it would be madness not to bring it back when so many still want to see it and others like myself want to go back with friends to see it again.
Fingers crossed we'll hear something soon. It would go down a treat in @sohoplace, so I still have hope for this there post-Heathers!
