Carl Man has just been confirmed as our tour Fiyero! Very exciting news, I've heard great reviews about his performance from those who saw him in London!

My parents saw when had to come back and cover in London before his & Juliet run and were very impressed with him and then loved him in & Juliet also. Might need to take a trip to see what the fuss is all about

Any advice for seating in Manchester? I plan to book my seats in the stalls, but are there any problem areas that should be avoided? Rear stalls and rear circle should always be avoided at the Palace, the view is like looking through a letterbox, so much of the upper stage is missing. The grand circle or tier (I can’t remember what they call it) is a way better option than rear stalls or circle, for a full view , in my opinion , especially nearer the front and central . As for the front stalls , I don’t think the stage is as high as in some theatres, but I’d go a few rows back just to be sure (I’m sure others will be able to advise ). As long as you’re fine with heights and extremely steep stairs then go for the grand circle, the view is fantastic.

Carl Man is exciting casting IMO! He was great in &Juliet, fab vocals and solid comedic performance. He looks very comfortable as Fiyero in photos! How was he as Fiyero when he was understudy? Did he go on much?

But he went on many, many times as understudy and even returned for a few shows to cover illnesses earlier this year! I'm incredibly excited to see Carl, as I've heard great things. Very good casting!

He definitely seems to be a star on the rise so I’m glad he’s being given the principle role. Very excited to see him in Edinburgh.

Just booked tickets to the final two shows in Manchester! Both in the center of the second row, so the view should be pretty amazing.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there a small scene with the Wizard and Doctor Dillamond together? Pretty sure it's after 'Wonderful' when Elphaba discovers him unable to speak...

The Wizard and Dillamond have always been played the same person on tour I believe. The scene in act 2 you’re talking about is an easy work around as anyone can come on wearing the dillamond mask.

I saw a cut show in London in November when Simeon Truby did this track, I think Mark Curry was off. He plays Dillamond for Something Bad and all the Shiz scenes, then reappears as the Wizard for Sentimental Man and then stays as the Wizard. When Dillamond crawls on under the blanket later on in Act 2 it must be a swing, he’s under the mask and just says “baaaa” so it doesn’t really matter!

This is who I think based on that video:
Glinda - Sarah O'Connor Boq - Liam Dean Nessarose - Maddison Firth Standby Elphaba - Casey Al-Shaqsy
The only one I can't place is Morrible. Someone on Facebook said it looks like Mel B ?!?
