A rave review this week from the Milton Keynes stop on the tour, plus comments here, made me keen to see this as an alternative Xmas show, but I'd have to go for the London venue. However, not only is Hammersmith Apollo a barn of a place but the ticket prices are shocking... so that looks like a short-lived plan.

Might be worth holding out as last year I got a rush ticket for £25 from today tix and sat in the stalls. I loved it and such a great way to get in the Christmas spirit.

I got the last £25 ticket for the Saturday night in Edinburgh which seemed like a great deal! Can’t wait as it look so like such a fun show. Ashleigh Gray is the main reason why I’m there but I think I’ll love it as a whole

Definitely a fun watch, I saw it in MK last week. It's completely Simon's show, he steals every scene he's in and is just brilliant. Sadly Ashleigh isn't given much to do which is a shame as she has such a great voice. The kids are also really good, and it doesn't actually feel too 'Christmassy' for the Scrooges amongst us!

Thank you, alece10; I did check Todaytix (after first looking in vain on @theatremonkey's site, match) & found no mention, but it's probably too soon, so I'll keep hoping.

I'm seeing it in London again. I got row D side stalls quite cheap, marked as restricted but I hope being close will make up for I (I was about 3 rows from the back upstairs last time!)

Ah ok see that on the front page. When you click onto the dates those prices don’t appear on the pricing legend. It IS On now has the £42 seats reduced to £25 for two performances.

I’d say come to Edinburgh. Beautiful theatre. And no booking, collection or postage fees.
EDIT: Actually no that’s a lie. Postage is 80p. But I always collect my tickets at the box office for free as I have that as an option, saving 80p which can be spent on something else, like a Freddo frog from the Sainsbury’s Local across the street from the theatre.

Sat in the Festival Theatre front of house bar area now, and there is a stage mum at the next table who is so irritating. Keeps on going on about how her kids are in the show, and the upcoming Nativity Rocks film, and they were auditioning for Matilda.

Curious that they have released this for amateur groups and are continuing to do professional productions next year.

Some relatively cheap tickets have appeared in the side stalls. Have managed to get two for the matinee tomorrow. Worth a shot.

This would be good news if I could book, as I'm still interested in seeing this, but though I can find similar tickets on the website, I absolutely cannot book any of them as the system won't let me select any, even though I'm using "Select Your Own Seat". How did you manage it, please, Mark? If it's relevant, I'm using Chrome but can try Edge if that would help. And does anyone else have any helpful suggestions, please? The Eventim Apollo website is atrocious enough as it is in making you go back to square one each time rather than allowing you simply to change the date (and I thought ATG was bad!), so at this rate they won't be getting my business.

OK, thank you. I don't do or have anything Apple-related but maybe someone else can help.

Working for me in Internet Explorer 11. Reassures me about sight lines that they have released ones further to the side than my original restricted view side stalls seats!

Try a different browser?

Saw this last night (previously saw it last year)
Simon Lipkin shines in this show. He’s just brilliant to watch.
They really have bumped up the Hollywood producer role (especially compared to what Louis Walsh did) and Dani’s part was brand new. They’ve both been added to scenes and had scenes created. The audience loved them but I was a bit meh.
Must be slightly soul destroying having people lacking in theatrical talent being paid a ton more than you for a LOT less work.
Jo Brand was comical although her mic didn’t work in her first scene - Simon quickly stepped in, took off his head mic and held it in front of her mouth. Quick thinking.
In the circle there was a fight which was amusing - two drunk females chatting on their phone were told to be quiet. It spilled into a fight with them refusing to move when asked to leave my staff. They eventually did and caused a small section of the audience to cheer.
Overall it’s such a joyful piece (as a primary school teacher myself) and makes you feel super festive!

I love the show, I hope the extra bits add to the joy I had last year rather than take away from it.
I know what you mean, Simon at least got named on the poster - I do wonder if he would have if he wasn't in this year's film!

What does Dani’s role even involve in the show? I couldn’t twig where she would fit in when I saw the show in Edinburgh

“Restricted view” side stalls seats are a steal! Loving the show again this time.
