Christian Slater, Robert Glenister, Kris Marshall, Stanley Townsend and Don Warrington. It's up on the ATG website now but tickets don't appear to be on sale just yet. Could you please send me a link to where it appears on the ATG website? I can't seem to find it.

Saw this last night and came away so very disappointed and have spent the day trying to formulate an appropriate reaction. Overall it is undercast, poorly sung, badly directed, staged and lit. There is little cohesion between scene and song - it desperately needs a show doctor. Oddly for this show, the men emerge and register much more strongly than the women - both are more than fine. Imelda has no soprano range and "fakes" the rest; Janie cracked on every top note and Tracie needs to stop channeling Garland. The latter is never believable as a movie star and can never lose her innate low class personality. Was Dawn Hope really miming during "Who's That Woman?" and did Sally and Phyllis really bring their tap shoes to the party? Why were we allowed to see them change into these before the number? Why was young Phyllis so much part of "Lucy & Jessie"? Thank God for the Strallen though as she saved the number but it is wrong. Why did the "Beautiful Girls" come down a fire escape? What happened to the party guests? They disappear after their respective "turns". I could never once believe Ben's feelings for Sally both then and now. No interval is good but portions of the show feel rushed (Ben's breakdown for example). I think Imelda faces over exposure now; she has been found out at last. She is a Very Good Actress but starting to repeat herself and vocally lacking in tone. As ever here I will be in the minority but have had to put my honest thoughts out there. Saw it tonight. Will write more tomorrow. But in the meantime this above review sums up most of my thoughts too. What a shame

Glengarry Glenn Ross is on its way to London for a short run, starting from around October time I think. Starring Christian Slater.

Sarah Lancashire has withdrawn from the production and will be replaced by Tamsin Grieg
On the advice of her doctor, Sarah Lancashire has regretfully had to withdraw from performing in Labour of Love.
We are delighted to announce that the role of Jean Whittaker will now be played by Olivier award-winning TAMSIN GREIG, who will star alongside Martin Freeman, Rachael Stirling, Kwong Loke, Dickon Tyrrell and Susan Wokoma.
Tamsin Greig’s theatre credits include Twelfth Night and Gethsemane (National Theatre), Much Ado About Nothing (RSC, Olivier and Critics Circle Awards), whilst her television credits include Diana & I, Episodes, Friday Night Dinner and she is also known on radio, as Debbie Aldridge in The Archers.

The character is meant to be 33. Redgrave is 52. Lang is 63. So yes. But not by much more

I have asked them to clarify the length of time the purchased content is available for and what happens if I wish purchased content to be available on my content and maybe later take out a subscription/ get access to newly added content. Not sure what the best thing to go for is tbh. I have 10 purchased productions in my account.

The RAH production did have an interval but it didn't work. It was awkwardly placed and just left the second half as the weird string of individual songs/ breakdowns which jarred with the first half and made it apparent that it is a play of 2 halves. I guess when you are in the moment and the production flows as one then there is less apparent jarring.

I got an email offering me 6 months free. However, there was no mention in the email about them no longer supporting existing purchases. Staggeringly bad customer service. No that message about no longer supporting existing purchases only comes up when you log in/ activate/re-activate your new account. It feels like they were trying to sidestep that and hoodwink people into thinking they were getting something free for 6 months when actually they haven't been explicit at all. Sneaky

Ooh very interesting. Admittedly it's mainly Richard Armitage fans up in arms but there is still an overwhelmingly negative response.

Where are you seeing the website comments and Twitter comments? I can't see anything other than promotional stuff on their Twitter feed: twitter.com/digitaltheatre?lang=en

Tried to book for this online and the website would not let me book the seat I wanted that was available - "an error has occurred, please phone the box office". This I did and was told that the seats that were available online should not have been as they were reserved for the promoter and should have been greyed out. So tried to book and failed - really life is too short for this. My first visit to this theatre is not happening. I will see something else! Life's too short for 1000 posts on Theatreboard too. Hahahahahahahahha. Joke

I know it's difficult to say because of the stoppage but how long do you think it might be when it's running properly? And is there an interval?

Dear God this was terrible. Not a single character you care about, could easily lose 20 mins, so many extraneous and unnecessary characters, purports to be something deep and spiritual but the writing is horribly clunky and over written. Amanda Hale good as her characters. The guy playing John and the professor the best thing in it. Wishaw just plays Wishaw. The woman playing Tom's mother embarrassingly bad. Not much set but what was there was used in such a pointless way. Not entirely sure how the Almeida let this one through without spotting the need for serious cuts and rewrites (and some recasting). Lots of empty seats after the interval. It's 2 stars from me and I anticipate a mix of 2 and 3 stars, although there will of course be some 4s as ever. What a shame.

Such a pointless mindless waste of everybody's time, money and energy. There are not new depths to be plumbed in this show. It does not need a stripped back feel. It does not need workshopping further. It unfortunately feels like a cynical vanity exercise from somebody biding their time until they come up with some new ideas. Imho So you bought tickets for all three nights then?! Oh yes of course. I bought 50 for each night. Can't wait

Little point taking recommendations to be fair. Everybody has different tastes and preferences. If they could narrow it down from the list above then people might be able to offer more focussed views.

Isn't Pravda the serious version of this same story (almost)?
