I would love to see Me and My Girl at Chichester and Stemp would be dream casting. I saw the excellent production at The Crucible a few years back. It definitely wasn't directed by Evans. It had Daniel Crossley as Snibson and The Magnificent Margoleyes was also in the cast. That production was directed by Anna Mackmin.

Hello. I am poorly sick tonight and I have a single (partially restricted) ticket in the Stalls to Albion tonight which I can no longer use. If anybody fancies taking it just drop me a message and I can transfer the name and it can be reprinted. Thanks

Logged on at 9.57. Was 223 in the queue. Booked my tickets for all 3 plays. Much better availability towards the ends of the runs for all 3. Not many Stalls seats left for all of them but Circle was looking pretty good. That was almost 2 hours ago though.

In my opinion, Cranham gave a terrible performance in The Father.

I got lucky in the Todaytix lottery today and saw the show this afternoon. I managed to get the middle of Row J in the stalls for £20 which was pretty amazing considering I thought all the lottery ones were front row. I am sure it's completely random but I applied at 7.30 this morning, got a message through just gone 11am and secured it immediately. Loved the show. Second half much better and funnier than the first.

I finished reading Belleville this morning (before the cast was announced). I will be VERY interested to see if it can be brought to life on the stage as it is an odd very inconsequential play. Although it got good reviews in the States and has a good cast here so what do I know?

I think Marc Elliott is a BRILLIANT and very fresh choice as Charity. Can't wait to see what he does with the part.

It hadn't, well done shady23 . They were still debating yesterday afternoon. Students get in for £20 as well.
Also a Todaytix lottery for £20. I couldn't see the lottery on TodayTix. Has it started yet?

I'd love to see the justification for Frank's comment: "Overall it is undercast, poorly sung, badly directed, staged and lit", and westendwendy's subsequent complete agreement. Because I really, really, don't get it. It makes me think of the commenters on YouTube who are really negative about the singing in Sam Mendes' superlative production of Company from 1996 at the Donmar Warehouse. That was beautifully acted AND sung, and I found the same with Follies at the NT. The RAH concert semi-staged version had next to no acting, and was a disappointment for me from that point of view, despite the big name cast which had been persuaded to appear. Anyway, I would like to echo the sentiment above - well done to all the cast and crew of this production of Follies on the positive reviews. You deserve them. It's not really up to you to need or get a justification of other people's opinions about something though - nor is it incumbent upon them to offer it. Even if more justification were offered, it wouldn't change the minds of people who disagree and would come down to personal tastes and a whole wealth of other reasons.
