Saw this tonight. Finished at about 10.30pm, feel it could shave off at least 30 minutes. It felt very long.
Still early previews, so appreciate it's a work in progress, but I found this pretty half baked. It tries to touch on a wide range of issues (grief, jealousy, aging, online bullying, blame), but does so only at a very surface level. I've seen these topics explored in a much in depth, interesting manner in other recent theatre. Perhaps if it had more focus, I would have engaged more with it.
The characters weren't very likeable - which is fine, I like spiky characters. However, they also weren't very interesting, which was my main gripe.
On the plus, I really liked the staging. Having the Dorfman in the round meant the view from side gallery seats was much better than usual!

Saw this last night, in the cheap front row stalls. View is definitely great for the money.
Sorry to be a negative nancy but I wasn't a fan of this. There wasn't much plot from what I could work out, but that was partially due to the fact that the acoustics were terrible. The band was so loud it made it hard to work out what was being sung. I found this was also a problem in December when I saw Rent at the same theatre. Maybe I would have enjoyed it more/felt more involved if I'd known the songs/lyrics beforehand. The first act felt very long. I noticed a few people left at interval.
The jazzy songs were fun to begin with, but there are a lot of them and they became very samey very quickly. I didn't feel any connection to any of the characters, which I think is a problem inherent in the playtext but the direction didn't help.
Silver linings - there were some great, campy lines. It probably works better if you get as drunk as the characters before it starts. The cast really do put a lot of effort into the performance and the band played nicely, albeit too loudly. Also Dex Lee is topless for a good portion of time, which doesn't hurt.

Totally forgot this was today. Arghh. Now in position 1453 in the queue, assuming there won't be too much on offer by the time my turn comes! Nevermind...

I've been hoping to win lottery tickets for ages as well, with no success! Ended up getting a last minute ticket yesterday via ATG website for Row C in Grand Circle at a discounted £20 price. I'd suggest checking the ATG website a couple of hours before your intended performance - you might find a bargain worth giving up your lottery ticket hopes for. Amber Riley was on great form! I particularly liked Ibinabo Jack as Lorrell.

Thanks guys!
Was about to cry when I thought my presale code was broken. OK, now to spend the next 80 minutes doing no work, just staring at those tickets...
Wish I'd become a DMT+ member...

My code isn't working - am I right in thinking 'general public' presale starts at midday, and that tickets on sale now are for DMT members? Or am I just cursed?

I was there today, was an incredible experience to see all three plays in one go. What a terrific cast.
Really loved Sophie Stanton as Falstaff and Caliban.
As some other people have already commented on, I don't think The Tempest utlised the prison setting as well as the previous two plays.
I do agree that there was no need for dynamic pricing when all seats would have given very good views, I'd imagine.

Seeing the entire trilogy tomorrow. Anyone else going to be there? How was it, David? I'm heading there in a couple of weeks for a trilogy day as well.

At about midday yesterday after two hours of no luck, I asked the Almeida's social media person to get someone to call me back from the box office. Someone called me back about an hour later and so I was able to book my tickets slightly more easily than some other people here...
Like everyone else here, I haven't received confirmation emails, so hoping to get them soon as I can't remember what seats I agreed on! Was quite shocked someone had actually phoned back!

I remembered to grab tickets two minutes after the first batch had been released, and there was already only very limited availability, so I imagine you need to be pretty quick.

Currently running until September 3rd.
"Trapped in a sexless marriage with her sickly cousin Camille, Thérèse Raquin embarks on an illicit, turbulent affair with her husband’s friend Laurent, that leads to madness and a horrifying conclusion. "
Saw this last night - would definitely recommend! A very strong young cast, with some genuinely frightening scares mixed in. Based on the novel by Émile Zola, which I haven't read.
Full frontal nudity. No dogs.

If could possibly transfer to the Trafalgar Studios maybe? Sound like a show which could move there I think that's a good idea. They would be able to replicate the Young Vic's stage design a la The Maids. Would be great.

Glad other people enjoyed it! My matinee yesterday was pretty full, and I don't think many there were cast's friends or family with freebies. But hoping it sells well, because it was a terrific production. Still humming the songs this morning.

Was at the matinee today, really enjoyed it! The songs are catchy and the cast give it their all. Also the actor playing Adam is a total beefcake. I was as mad as God when Eve got him to eat the apple and put on some clothes.
The new theatre is still struggling without any air con. Even on a milder day like today, I was a total sweaty mess.

Saw this on Thursday. I loved it. Billie Piper is an incredible force. Cried at about three different moments. The whole cast was terrific. Really loved the mother. The set was very cool as well, was really impressed.
Desperate to see this again! If anyone has a ticket going spare to buy, I will be forever grateful!

Saw this tonight. Sadly, like others have said, I found it all a bit mediocre. The cast work hard but the story and the script just do not work. I don't want to spoil it, but the go home message is tediously outdated and out of touch.
Some fun songs, though if you are in the front row be prepared to fear for your life as there are some very energetic dance moves in a very compact space.
They must have cut some stuff because this ran to the expected 150 mins. Started 7.35, out 10.05.

Thanks to everyone for flagging that remaining tickets are being discounted a few hours before the show. Got a nice stall seat for £30 for today's matinee at about 12.30pm! Very excited!

I really loved this production. Already booked tickets to go again. One of the funniest nights of theatre I've had. The actor playing Milky White had me in stitches!

I concur with everyone else saying the 2010 production was ace. I wish I'd seen it live, watching it on Digital Theatre was wonderful. Would love to see a revival. Unfortunately, Kingston is a bit too far away for me to get to!
