Any Barbican members who can see the performance schedule? Specifically would like to know performance days and times for August 9 to 17. Thanks.

Thanks for the heads up. I missed seeing this off Broadway and will have to try to fit this in on my trip to London in October. Would you recommend the train from London Paddington as the quickest way to get there and will I be able to get back to London after an evening performance?

Any other speculation or rumours about casting? When do you think we can expect an announcement?

Where is everyone choosing to sit in this venue and with this seating plan? Maybe I should go for the Roulette tickets so I don’t have to decide!

Are Previews of DEH on October 29, 30 & 31 still going ahead? These dates are no longer listed on the show's website or Delfont Mackintosh and I can't remember whether there were just evening performances? I currently have a ticket for November 1 as part of my trip to London, but I am considering rearranging my plans so I can return home in time to see Anthony Warlow in a 25th Anniversary concert of Jekyll & Hyde on November 2 in Sydney. I would need to depart London on October 30 and so that would only leave me with the the possibility of seeing DEH on October 29. What do you think my chances would be of getting a ticket for that first preview performance?

I’ve heard 12th November mentioned a couple of times, but not sure how accurate that is. Thanks, that would work perfectly for me if it was opening night rather than first preview.

Does anyone have any inside information on exactly when in November this opens or begins previews? I’m trying to plan a trip from Australia and want to coordinate this with seeing the Les Mis concert along with other shows in London & NY.

I have a single front row circle ticket for Amadeus on Monday evening 7 November that I can no longer use. What is my best option for getting my money back? Will NT give me a refund to my credit card if they are able to resell it, or am I able to sell it directly to someone in the day seat/returns queue? I have the hard copy ticket but am not arriving in London until Monday morning from Australia.
Thanks for the advice.

Yes, that is booked and I am meeting up with my brother and his family who are flying in from Ireland. Not something I can change.

I have booked to see this on Thanksgiving day for a bit of traditional holiday fare and to see something at Radio City Music Hall. Should be fun.

I have since tried a message on Facebook, so will see how that goes. My schedule is pretty jam packed so I would have to give something else up unless I am able to pull off the Last Five Years/School of Rock swap. The only one I am a bit half hearted about is the Entertainer, but I have always been a fan of KB and have spent £65 on the ticket, so I'd feel bad giving that up.
Mon 7 Nov - Ragtime Tue 8 Nov - In the Heights (Mat), Bodyguard (Eve) Wed 9 Nov - Lazarus (Mat), The Entertainer (Eve) Thu 10 Nov - School of Rock (Mat Cancelled), Harry Potter Part 1 (Eve) Fri 11 Nov - Murder Ballad (Mat), Harry Potter Part 2 (Eve) Sat 12 Nov - Harry Potter Studio Tour, Michael Ball Alfie Boe Together (Eve) Sun 13 Nov - Notre Dame de Paris (Mat) - Lille, France Mon 14 Nov - Last Five Years

Just spoke to SeeTickets. No dice :-( There's no tickets for sale on press night at the moment. Does anyone know anyone at Really Useful I could possibly speak to?

What do you think my chances are of swapping my cancelled ticket for an Opening Night ticket on Monday 14 November? I have Last Five Years booked for that night and they do have a Thursday matinee that I could exchange for. Would have to pay £20 more for a ticket for that performance though....

I've just had an email from See Tickets telling me that the matinee preview performance I've booked on Thursday 10 November has been cancelled :-( I had a great seat in the middle of E row too. I have no free slots left in my 8 day trip to London unless I were to cancel something else. I'm already giving up Amadeus so I can fit in Ragtime. Sigh, the perils of booking so far in advance. First Phantom in Paris and now this! :-(

Thanks for all the links viserys. Unfortunately not one of those shows has a performance on November 15, so it looks as though the George Balanchine triple bill at the Opera Garnier might be one of my only options if Phantom isn't up and running by then. I do have a ticket to see Notre Dame de Paris at the Colisee de Roubaix before it begins it's Paris season so will get my musical spectacular fix . I saw the original production in Paris and then again when it transferred to London. Can hardly believe that was 20 years ago!

Delayed until further notice- opening night cancelled... The lighting director posted on his Facebook that he doesn't think it will open this year.. Anyway- My flight and hotel are non refundable, so any suggestions for what to do in Paris now that all my nights are free- are VERY welcome!!! Anyone been to the Moulin Rouge? is it worth the very high priced ticket? I'm in the same position, but my ticket is not until 15 November, so maybe there's still hope? i have a non-refundable Eurostar ticket, hotel booking and international flight from Paris to Washington. I won't be back to Paris (from Australia) for a while after this trip, so rebooking for a later date once they get up and running is not an option. Maybe you could see something at the real Opera Garnier? That's something I'm considering if my date gets cancelled.

^ No, not joking at all. £5 gets you a substantial 10cm high snowglobe containing a little plastic Garrick Theatre with "The Kenneth Branaugh Season" on the signboard, and a little plastic taxi and tree in front. On the back of the theatre is also the "Branaugh Season" printed again. It made me laugh a lot. Make sure you take a large bag, as the box it comes in is quite substantial and the globe is really well packed in moulded polystyrene. Thanks. Hope they still have some left in November and that I can fit it in my luggage! It will have to travel round the globe with me to the US and then home to Australia :-)

Saw it Saturday afternoon (and have the KB Garrick Snowglobe to prove it - it made me giggle and wasn't badly priced IMHO. Anyway)... Hope you weren't joking about this, because I would really love to take home a KB Garrick Snowglobe as a souvenir when I see the play in November. Photo or more details please? :-)

Now that the show has extended, will there be any discount offers for the new booking period @theatremonkey?

This is great news! I only needed the show to extend into November so I could see it :-) Now, that I can finally book, what seats do people recommend?

I am also going to be in NY Thanksgiving week and have booked the following so far: Hamilton Great Comet Waitress Dear Evan Hansen
I'm also planning to book for Color Purple once I can find a discount for November and hope to fit in as many of the rest of my Shortlist as possible. I should be able to manage 6 more. It's going to be a busy week :-)
Front Page Falsettos Dead Poets Society Holiday Inn Sweet Charity School of Rock Bronx Tale In Transit Radio City Christmas Spectacular Spamilton (if it extends again)

Went to cancellation line, again, today. Around 30 minutes before the show started, they were selling us what I believe to be unused "house seats," E15-12. If anyone wants a premium view, you might want to hold out until this time to see if you will be offered one. Marvelous view, and you get to see some very touching tributes that you won't be able to see if seated far back. That sounds promising. I am in E17 when I finally see the plays (booked in October last year) on my trip to London in November

Tickets are still for sale past August 21 on the ATG link from the show's own website. They need to get their act together!

I booked my ticket to School of Rock thru Seetickets when they released additional seats in the Stalls a couple of weeks ago, for a preview performance in November. The charge stayed on pending for 10 days on my credit card and then disappeared altogether. I have not been charged and I have not received the ticket. Does anyone know if that is normal practice for Seetickets?

Got my copy of the book this morning for AUD 15.00 and now I have to stop myself reading it and avoid any spoilers until my trip to London in November when I see the plays. Wish me luck!

I don't want to risk reading the reviews myself as I'm not in London until November to see the plays, but can anyone who has read them provide a summary of how Cursed Child scored? How many stars, positive/negative reviews, etc?
