Just heard he is back in "All or Nothing" as the alternate Steve. Does anyone know when he is on?

^Finished that off yesterday. Rather good, I thought. I was wondering monkey if you know anything about the new "Love Never Dies" cast CD that is mentioned?

Alexandra Burke on The One Show: "There's no acting in Chess, just singing" Oh for ... Perhaps it's good I haven't got a ticket then if that's her attitude.

Been waiting for the tickets I won for the Mousetrap Theatre Projects 21st Anniversary Gala to arrive. They just did. - Pushed through the letterbox - just the tickets- no envelope or anything with my name & address on. I suppose they must have been delivered to the wrong address & someone opened it. Lucky I got them at all I suppose. The post here is atrocious. We have a different postman & time every day. On occasions we don't see a postman for days. Husband did say there was a knock at the door but he was standing on a chair so ignored it.

Getting really sick of "Corrie" [ & Emmerdale] - I stopped watching "Eastenders" years ago. I think the Phelan storyline has gone on far too long.

Is anybody reading Lord Lloyd Webber's book at the moment? Opinions on it? I have a copy but not started yet as finishing another book first. I'm a quick reader & will probably read it next week.

Hopefully someone will post the finale on youtube or I'll have to resort to fast forwarding the ITV Hub tomorrow. There you go Thanks to you both. Watched the youtube link. Once you ignored the ridiculous distractions of Ant & Dec I enjoyed it especially "School of Rock" & Philip Schofield.

For Andrew Lloyd Webber fans who like their Saturday Nights at home after a matinee ( Jamie for me today) we’re in for a treat! Andrew certainly knows how to celebrate a Big Birthday in style- he’ll sharing a Takeaway with Ant’n’Dec, featuring in the End of the Show Show! All our favourite numbers, performed in ways we’ve only imagined in our darkest dreams... (A bit of a dilemma for you, anita ! ) Hopefully someone will post the finale on youtube or I'll have to resort to fast forwarding the ITV Hub tomorrow.

I opened this thread thinking it was going to be about Saturday nights on the telly! I’ve started avoiding Saturday nights at the theatre- I find the London streets and trains overcrowded with what Tibidabo calls Feral Fartheads so I’ve recently taken to booking a midweek or Saturday matinee with a nice lunch with or without friends beforehand. Saturday night TV last night saw the start of a brand new series of Ant and Dec’s Takeaway. It’s not my thing at all but I do like it on “in the background” while we’re backwards and forwards to the kitchen with drinks and sorting out dinner, eaten off trays like we’re having a takeaway. Why oh why does everyone these days think they’re up there with Morecambe and Wise? First it was Susan Calman and Kevin. Last night Michael Ball (I love Michael Ball, I really do, but I honestly can’t look at him when he’s with his bezzie) and Alfie Boe were singing Bring Me Sunshine. (How did anyone think those two voices actually sounded good together???) They were then joined by Ant and Dec themselves, as if they’re the nation’s new Morecambe and Wise not even managing to carry off their own ‘act’ they’ve trotted out for years. All of a sudden the stage was swarming... I’m sure Ruthie Henshall was one of them... Sorry lynette; I know it doesn't help you with your NT problems... Can't stand "Saturday Night Takeaway". And NOONE compares to Morecambe & Wise.

Just flicking through "Todaytix" as you do. Decided to glance at whats available in Washington D.C. where my eldest son & his family live.- Well nearly - just over the Maryland border. What a surprise! There are tickets for "Don Carlo" at the Kennedy Centre. My daughter in law is in that!

Hoping the snow will be gone by mid next week, I have just booked to see "Some Mothers Do 'Ave Em" in Richmond on Wednesday evening. I think I will hate it as I love the TV series so much.

Yep, that was the one - toffee, chocolate and peanut flavours. Giant 200g bags, I got. Did you ever get the biscuit one where they sent about 20 and only wanted you to try about 3? Yes I got big bags too. Didn't get biscuits though.

^Me too, anita . Being fair, I do clock up about £100 worth of Amazon credit a year, so it isn't all bad. Do you ever get the ones where they send you free food? I did one last year that was totally delicious - £5 to sit around eating snacks (and they sent enough to last for a week). Had 3 bags of popcorn once & washing up liquid. Also some drinks [ not alchohol unfortunately] from Tesco. I too claim lots of Amazon credit. This morning since it was sorted was able to claim the last bit of payment to allow me the ALW autobiography & box cd set for free. [ Also the book was extra cheap as I ordered it ages ago.]

I belong to one of these survey websites where they pay you to do surveys. I don't know if it's the snow but this afternoon I've completed 4 & not been paid for any of them. Really p****d off. Funny, I belong to two as well, and had a slew of surveys in, too. I get really annoyed when you answer a load and then it goes "sorry, quota full" on you. If you are on ValuedOps, I've had a row with them several times now about wasted time. The result is that if you are refused after about 9 clicks of data, you can usually complain and get paid even though you don't complete the survey. That's what I do now. Did clock up 3 today, though, paying ones. Yes it was them. They have paid me now & apologised that there was a problem yesterday. They seem to think we like doing them. - I don't . Just need the money!

I've seen it & it was packed. It was good but I prefered "Sunny Afternoon". Steve Marriott comes over as a pretty unlikeable person - very arrogant. Cast excellent.
