It's the audience sitting in the stalls who judge the winner.

Looking after them today supposedly till 4.30. Oldest one has just told me their mother said I may be staying to do their tea. I am getting really angrey. She hasn't asked meif thats OK. Clearly nothing to do with me but that's taking the **** isn't it. Can you talk to her? Fortunately she was back before 4.30. She is a really bossy girl. She orders everyone about including her mum & brothers. She expects all to do as she says. [My son says she is a right b***h.]

It is half term this week so it has been assumed I will look after 2 of my grandkids nearly every day while their parents are at work. Now my son's partner has emailed me expecting me to take them to school when they go back. Before I have arrived on the bus at theirs for 8.30. Now she says she wants me there at 7.30 presumeably to get them out of bed & give them breakfast. I've said NO! Good on you anita Looking after them today supposedly till 4.30. I was there on Monday night. Paul Whitehouse was off. I love the TV show but this just didn't work. It was as if they had got fans to list their most memorable bits & then stuffed them all in - or at least references to them. The new songs were dire. They appeared to want to give each character their own song & just stuffed them in randomly & yes programs are £10. The only good part was that the cast have obviously taken a lot of trouble studying the original actors & got their mannerisms to a tee.

I'm not a Jason Manford fan but I like the sound of this. Thinking of booking a cheap ticket at Dartford [ as cheaper than Bromley]. Have just ordered the Broadway CD online too.

Just heard about the landslide on my train line. - No trains till the weekend at least. Hope it's running by Monday as I'm going to "Only Fools and Horses". Did you get ticket insurance when buying for the show? No. Website now says back running from Monday. I can get there other ways if necessary but will take a lot longer & will be crammed.

When I went online at around 2pm yesterday & saw I was around 26,000 in the queue I hopped on the train & went to the box office.[ The only advantage of being over 60 - free]. Within 15 minutes of getting there I was outside again clutching my cheapie ticket for the first Saturday evening.

Just been to my doctors for appointment but told nothing for 2 weeks. - Walked out. They have a sign up that they can take on new patients. - Why, when they can't cope with those they already have?

Another one-off is being filmed at the London Palladium. I was in the Stalls for the last one. This time it's to be hosted by John Barrowman [ instead of Freddie Flintoff] & Elaine Paige is advising [ instead of Michael Crawford].

Just got a priority booking mail from Nimax for some reason (no idea I was registered with them!) Stalls and dress circle are £45 to £52.50 with £75 premium seats. Upper circle is £20 and £30. Supposed to be £10 off all price bands for the first 10 performances but this doesn't seem to work at the moment. Working now.

The only time I have done this is when I was taken in through the stage door by a cast member & told to stand at the back of the stalls until the lights went down, then to sit in any empty seat. I was told that if anyone asked to say I was "Press".

Many. Michael's advice building up my collection, Tanya and the DC board, their kindness when my book came out and I was called in 3 Mondays running to sign them (why they couldn't have just posted me the 3 in one package...)... walking in and invariably buying whatever was playing, the 1984 catalogue (duplicated pages stapled together) in which for years I ticked off my buys and wants. Saving 10 paper tokens to get £10 off. It goes on. Your book? Yes I bought it in Dress Circle. It is well thumbed now.

I always visited whenever in London & never found them at all rude. I found them very friendly & knowlegable. I used to get all the rumours from them about forthcoming shows & they didn't tire of my questions. Spent quite a bit with them. I went on a few of their theatre trips & lots of signings.
