Associate Member booking opened today and I was amazed how much King Lear and The Tempest had already nearly sold out for the performance dates I was after. OK, I live fairly close to Stratford and go for the over 60 reduction performances but the seats I usually buy were completely sold out. King Lear I can understand to a certain extent as there aren't so many performances of that but there are masses of performances of The Tempest. I pity anyone who is waiting for the public booking date.

I have kept the same name as on the old site. I live in Birmingham where I see as many plays as possible and some musicals but I also see most things at Stratford and get to London frequently where I often try to see two shows in one day if possible. I am also a big ballet fan so go to lots of performances by Birmingham Royal Ballet and as many other companies as I can manage.

The Royal Ballet's Rhapsody/The Two Pigeons and Les Liasons Dangereuses at the cinema and the Young Vic production of Macbeth at the Birmingham Rep.

Many many years ago I sat next to Peggy Ashcroft at The Other Place in Stratford.
