For those looking for a database of college shows you may find the Spotlight calender helpful. calendar.spotlight.com/performances/monthDoesn't guarantee everything will be on there as it's up to the individual college to update but will be a starting point. Obviously, please then look for their public booking arrangements rather than contacting the industry liasion.

I'm pitching this to Tim Sheader right now! I mean if your sat with Tim Shearer now, maybe tell him Evita is a terrible idea I jest. He doesn't take my calls.

Starlight Express would be equal parts crazy and amazing. They could do the races through the park, relay the pictures by camera to the stage and have surprised walkers in the park (who have no clue what's going on) lining the "tracks" as spectators. I'm pitching this to Tim Sheader right now!

And it's not at the Open Air Theatre! There will be a different show on at the Park during the summer. ITS EVITA. ITS EVITA ITS EVITA Shall I have it engraved on the plinth in Trafalgar Square or something?! 😉

It's not any of those mentioned, and it's not a reprise.
Season announcement will probably be November.

Row AA in this configuration are usually day seats so not on general sale.
Row A are the £25 seats and wheelchair spaces.

Saw this tonight. Laura Linney was, quite frankly, amazing. Sat in A10 - the best £25 I've spent in a long time.

No, I'm saying that matinees tended to attract a less diverse audience. But that's the case in most theatres I've worked in.
Weekday evenings especially were a really broad mix because it was a fairly short show and people would come from work.

I worked at the Bridge for a while during this show and saw thousands of its audience members (and probably lots of you lot). There was an extremely diverse age range and ethnic mix, although if you came to a weekday or Sunday matinee you probably wouldn't see that so much.

I enjoyed this tonight but there was about 75% too much Will Young for my liking.
I like the idea of having a narrator/compere but he's just not good enough to make it work for me.
Would request that the ushers also eject anyone who tries to join in with the dramatic paso doble clapping towards the end.
Zizi Strallen I thought was charming and I enjoyed seeing Jacob Maynard from last year's On The Town in the ensemble.

The madeleines are indeed lovely. As are the doughnuts.

Forgot my favourite part, Morrissey tracksuited up, whipping up the baying crowds with the street band. Have to say that I cringed myself inside out at that bit. Dad dancing at its finest.

Have just reluctantly returned my dress circle row K ticket for Thursday matinee if anyone is after a ticket!
I was a call handler's dream. All my booking information ready and to hand, no loss of mobile signal, no calling on hands free so they miss every 5th word as I turn my head...

One of the problems with Sunday in the Park is that the general ticket buying public are terribly literal and it would probably take a huge ad campaign for them to realise this wasn't a one off/once a week show. And they'd have to perform on Sundays or people would complain.

Does anyone else think Aiden Turner has a disproportionally small head?

I had a look about 20 minutes ago and there was still some availability for the Westminster Abbey event.

I'm quite possibly the only person on twitter who managed to book everything they wanted painlessly today! I logged in at 9.58am as I wanted Shakespeare in the Abbey tickets and knew there would be high demand for these. Am doing the Sonnet Walk West the following morning (I alternate which route I do each year).
Also have AYLI, Hamlet, Winter's Tale, Othello and Eyam booked. Will look at the rest once I know work schedules.

Saw this last night. Full house from what I could tell; pretty mixed bag of ages too. I had to explain what a minger was and the relevance of Canal Street to the American Lady sitting behind me but I don't think the audience generally had any problems with the references.
I loved that the ensemble were truly representative and believeable as British teenagers.
Loved Dan Gillespie Sells' music. Loved John McCrea. Loved It Means Beautiful. Loved the teacher's white H & M blouse (I have the same one!).
Rapturous reception at the end.

Max Webster is directing at Regent's Park. He did the Globe's touring Much Ado a couple of years ago which is one of my favourite versions.

I have been known to whip out my staff id, like some bad undercover cop, when asking people to put away phones and cameras when I'm in the audience . I've also been asked many, many times if a dog is allowed in because 'they are ever so small and well behaved and quiet and will just sit on my lap in my handbag'.

Regent's Park Open Air have removed all their Premium pricing for next season. You at least got a glass of wine and a programme in the Premiums before; they must think it's not worth the effort.

Just been told by one of my jobs that I have a compulsory training day on the same date I have Hamilton tickets.
Shame. I quite liked that job.

I can't recommend anywhere specific but I've seen a few boys have their make up done at Benefit counters.

Booked a cheapy for Macbeth but after reading theatremonkey's opinion that it was a vertigo inducing seat, I panicked and splashed out for the stalls. I might return the cheapy if I can.
Two MaccyBs in the space of a month for me with this and the RSC production.

I've composed and then deleted numerous posts in this thread today in case I run foul of my employer's social media policy.
Parsley hates all of the venues I work at. I'm getting a complex.
