Saw on Twitter that they are stopping rush tickets from next week, and day seats will only be sold if they're available.

While I was considering if I could afford this, it sold out. I guess that settles the dilemma then. Don't worry - more onstage seats are being released on the 4th of April at 12pm.

Was going to try and do a two show day of this and Streetcar but it’s completely sold out now. Have the on-stage seats been out on sale yet? When I looked a couple of weeks ago it was showing random seats scattered around the theatre, but all of the on-stage ones were unavailable on every date I looked at. As in, actual seats on the stage? Am I being stupid? lol

Is there any chance this extends by a week or two? With the transfer - no. If there wasn't a transfer, then I would of said yes.

Saw this last night and the acting was 10/10 - incredible. Enjoyed the storyline too and the set was simple, yet it worked well. Was sat in the Circle in A4 for £25, great view; tbh, every seat looked like it gave a good view.
I checked out the prices in the pre-sale for the transfer and whilst I'm not surprised, it's ridiculously expensive in the stalls. I was also expecting the layout to be like Cabaret (as that's how it sort of is at Almeida) but the seating plan didn't make it look like that. Whilst I loved it, I definitely won't be paying those prices - I expect there will be some sort of lottery/rush as the first few rows weren't on sale.

Tickets for this seem to be selling well. Will no doubt be helped by James Norton on Graham Norton today. I want to see this but have been holding off due to the insane prices - now getting slightly concerned about missing out! I seem to recall the first couple of rows not being available but wasn’t sure if they’d sold out or were being held back. Is this likely to be worth the splurge or is it best to hold out? I'm sure I read that the first or the first two rows weren't put on sale or something - I could be wrong though. I'm sure there will be some sort of day seats/rush/lottery. -- I've booked third row for this in Richmond on opening night! I've never been to an opening night of a show before so I'm quite excited (and £60 in Richmond compared to the £80 at Harold Pinter).

I wanted to be closer and more intimate, plus not looking down as much. Yeah you will definitely be closer and not looking down on the actors from there for sure! You just might get the backs of them a bit more haha Haha thank you for the heads up - hopefully will all be good! I think UC will just be a tad too high

I'm sitting front row of UC - I may ask to change my seats to Dress Circle and pay a bit extra tbh I'd take front row of upper circle over the other side of dress because the actors play to the 'normal' side more than the other side. Eek, I upgraded - it was more because I wanted to be closer and more intimate, plus not looking down as much.

is Dress Circle row K essentially 3rd row - just on the other side? Yes, Seatplan will give you a good idea of what view to expect.
Thanks - I'm going on Saturday but I'm sitting front row of UC - I may ask to change my seats to Dress Circle and pay a bit extra

"We’re just going round in circles", W says at a certain point, and for me it's a perfect description of the play. It's pleasant enough but I felt it didn't have much to say about anything. I don't necessarily agree that it's dated, since John is not really worried about labels and the only dated opinions come from the only "dated" character. I thought it took it a while to find its footing and it didn't really work until W shows up: the long opening scene between John and M was a bit clunky, partly because of the writing and party because I didn't see much chemistry between Jonathan Bailey and Taron Egerton. It's true that JB is not doing anything that we haven't seen him do before in Company or Crashing, but he does it so well. I was less enamoured with Egerton, I thought he lacked depth and couldn't stop thinking about what a wonder Andrew Scott must have been in the part. Jade Anouka and Phil Daniels both very good. I hated the "choreography" and thought the whole direction was a bit heavy-handed in the first part of the play, although I really liked John and W's sex scene. Personally I didn't think time flew by and I kinda felt the 105 minutes. I warmed up to it as it went along, but I was pretty bored at the beginning - although maybe I was just distracted by a patron's sh*tty conversation with an usher right before the show. On the whole, I enjoyed it but I'm glad I paid only 20£ for its (row J of the circle, an absolute bargain). Standing ovation at the end, but of those standing ovations that end as soon as the cast leaves the stage. *** I saw this last Wednesday and pretty much feel the exact same way as you - at times I really thought it was dated and I hated the fact that they didn't use labels such as 'bi' or 'queer' etc. I felt like John's character could only be gay or straight and that was it. I agree that the sex scene was hilarious and cleverly done. The acting, however, IMO was a 10/10 from all 4 leads and worth a visit just for that.

I won the lottery! I can't believe it!
Seats available were front row Dress Circle and I think 3rd row in the Stalls (I went for Dress Circle)!

Some dynamic pricing happening for tonight's show on the website (I'm assuming due to the tube strike).
A lot of £35 tickets available in the Upper Circle, £135 tickets have been reduced to £89.

Thanks - do you have any rows / seats which you think are best? I don't mind paying the £50 either. I sat in row C seats 11-12 and those were a really good unobstructed view. Not too far away and very central. I paid £30 for those, but I can see they're £50 now. How comfortable are the seats up there. I didn't find the legroom bad, but I'm quite short. My friend who's 5'10 ish said her knees were kind of poking through the bars in front a bit. I thought the seats themselves were comfy-ish. A bit narrow and not too deep, but the rake is fantastic. The reconfigured upper circle basically means your feet are about head level for the people in the row in front of you and there's a bar in front that even when you lean, the people behind you can still see. Thanks! Have booked front row center on the 25th for £50.

Tbf, the view from the Upper Circle doesn't actually look that bad.. I sat in the Upper Circle last time I went and the view was really good. You won't miss anything being there Thanks - do you have any rows / seats which you think are best? I don't mind paying the £50 either.

They've only released the £30 ones until 25th June. 27th June onwards will be a new Emcee and Sally Tanks for the heads up. Tbf, the view from the Upper Circle doesn't actually look that bad.. however, I'm hoping they'll reduce the ticket prices for everything as the demand for this is surely going to drop.

Does ATG usually do day tickets? Really wondering if I should hold out and wait or just splurge on tickets.

I'm supposed to be seeing this on the 29th and I'm sure lockdown will stop it.
I'm hoping with the 2 week circuit breaker seeming very likely, that this will extend it's run for the people who had tickets during the 'lockdown'.

Is it safe to say there won’t be a lottery for this?

Thinking about booking this for my friend's birthday - is the leg room in Row A DC that bad? Or is it worth it to see the floor of the stage, or is sitting in Row H in the stalls better?

It’s a shame people aren’t here for this - I saw it on Tuesday and absolutely loved it, thought Katherine was a strong lead and found it very funny at parts. (Also, i day seated and only 8 people by 10am so demand for day seating has definitely reduced, I was 3rd in line and all they were offering was RV seats, pretty disappointing tbh).
I do think though, there should be a lottery, or rush, or day seats everyday or something. I don’t understand why they haven’t done this when it’s normal for a show to have this when it first opens.

For anyone holding out for cheaper tickets. If you're under 30, a key worker or on JSA, a tweet just went out confirming that £15 tickets will start going on sale in Feb: I’m guessing this isn’t happening anymore
