The design looks.. simple.. but maybe they don’t want to reveal anything in the pictures?

I have no idea how they’re going to accommodate everyone with new dates and tickets unless they add extra dates in.. (unless it’s not as sold out as they’re making it out to be)

Thank you for the answer about the shadow seats. I’m in London for a single Wednesday coming up and trying to work out what to see. There’s a pretty decent seat for this on Wednesday in the Dress Circle (F3) for only £33 if you have a look on TodayTix! The view will be good from there.

Does anyone know what the £10 secret seats are like?

There's an offer on Todaytix where front row is £35 for some performances. I sat front row right at the side when I went and missed quite a bit, has anyone sat more central? Thanks for letting us know - I assumed these seats were saved for the lottery! Having sat in the middle of the front row through the lottery tickets - this is a great price for the front row. The stage is a little high but definitely worth it.

Finn Cole (Peaky Blinders, Animal Kingdom) announced as the lead in Red Speedo: www.whatsonstage.com/news/finn-cole-to-star-in-european-premiere-of-red-speedo_1591085/Finn Cole (Peaky Blinders, Animal Kingdom) is set to make his professional stage debut in the European premiere of Red Speedo.
Described as “thrilling and dangerous” by our New York sister site during its 2016 Off-Broadway run, the play is written by Lucas Hnath (A Doll’s House, Part 2) and tells the story of Ray (played by Cole), a swimmer on the brink of international glory and a life-changing sponsorship deal until performance-enhancing drugs are discovered in the club’s refrigerator.
Under the direction of Matthew Dunster (2:22 A Ghost Story), the creative team includes designer Anna Fleischle, associate designer and costume designer Cat Fuller, lighting designer Sally Ferguson, sound designer Holly Khan, casting director Matilda James, fight director RC-Annie, and accent coach Aundrea Fudge.

I see this show has had a lot of praise, for someone who hasn't watched the TV show, do you think they would enjoy it? Or is this strictly for fans of the series? Thanks You'd probably be confused tbh, unless you do research before the play.

2. I know this show has some dynamic pricing, but how heavily does it discount shortly prior to showtime? Don't think so. At least for the table seats, I've never seen them going for <£120 even as the show is about to start. I got front row table seats for £80 each - this was for a Saturday matinee in June 2022, they changed it the day before to quite cheap, got very lucky.

No show is ever fully "sold out" till the actual day.. don't worry. Random tickets will pop up here and there from now until the entire run.

Managed to get a rush ticket and seeing this tonight (got stalls row D for anyone wondering what seats they’re offering). Was it easy to get one? Yep, joined the countdown and as soon as it lets you buy tickets, I clicked it straight away - I would say try and be quick but if you have the countdown up and ready to click as soon it goes to 0 seconds, hopefully you'll be able to grab one!

Wow, this was incredible! Acting was 5/5, loved the story and never once felt bored - the 3 hours flew by.
I loved the set and the long staircase too. It was great to see such fantastic female talent dominate a play.

If I remember correctly for Sunset Boulevard they were released later. Not sure if it will be the same this time. For sunset Boulevard I don’t think we knew about them before the general sale did we? I hope they do go on sale at the same time, or at least we know when they will before general sale as I qualify! I did a bit of digging - the Sunset U30 tickets went on sale 8th September at 8:30am and I found a tweet from WhatsOnStage announcing it on the 6th September. I assume the same will happen for this but I guess no harm in checking tomorrow morning. (For reference, Sunset Blvd started on the 21st September so these Under 30 tickets went on sale a couple of weeks before the show started its run.)

I saw this on Friday, I did indeed spend £125 to sit front row but I thought, let me just treat myself lol. The stage at The Savoy is low so the view is honestly 10/10 and it's a bit weird that the row behind is £75 more at £200.
Act 1 is my least favourite out of the 3, it's a bit slow paced and a little predictable but still enjoyable. Act 2 is great and the material shows off both SJP and Matthew's comedy skills, but Act 3 was the true star IMO, I was belly laughing in the theatre - I actually didn't think the script limited SJP's acting, I thought both did fantastic here! I also didn't find the play to be too dated like some have said. Overall, is it worth the £300? Probably not, but if you're a big SJP/ Matthew fan, then you'll definitely enjoy because their acting alone made this worth seeing.
I stage door'd after, it was busy but not as busy as I was expecting.. about 5 lines deep, don't worry if you're towards the back, they seemed to sign everyone's show merch and both were very kind. SJP recognised me from sitting in the front row too - luckily the person next to me filmed it!

They’ve also announced details of the lottery for this - ten seats in the front row of the stalls (BB has now been added) available for each performance, via the lottery for £40. The remainder of that row is now on sale on ATG, for £200 😱 Do you know how to enter?

Wow - that's incredible! Consider my words eaten. Quite a coup - have Broadway Equity ever allowed 3 out of 4 British leads to transfer before? Amazing news; though still wish was extending here instead..... Cursed Child had all 7 leads transfer.

Is there any way for cheaper tickets for this apart from the lottery? I'm looking at the prices and it's a lot as you have to pay for two :/. I was thinking about restricted views and E3 and F2 seem like the best idea for this and not too bad. Post-COVID prices for this are ridiculous. I remember in 2018/2019, they would reduce top premium tickets (e.g. front row middle of the dress circle) to £40 on the day or day before. Think the best way is the lottery now.

Boring question but what time are people getting out of the theatre at currently for this? 10.05-10.10pm when I went 2 weeks ago with the new 7pm start time.

I won the lottery for this and seeing it on Friday - very excited and can you let you all know which seats they're offering. I also bought regular tickets when they went on sale a while ago - restricted view C1 and C2, does anyone that's been know how restricted these look? I've been to the theatre before and I can't imagine it actually being that bad.. Hi, can I check what seats you were allocated in the lottery please? Is it first come first serve at the box office/they allocate it on the spot? Are were they already allocated when you picked up your ticket? Thanks I got B14/15 - it was allocated before I picked up the tickets, not sure how they did it. I assume the whole first row is lottery.
