Advice for someone down south... Is it conceivably possible to drive from the matinee (ending around 5pm) at Buxton Opera to Leeds Playhouse in time for the 7:30pm show? Google Maps tells me 1h 45 mins, but is that optimistic?

A little random I know, but I don't suppose anyone has a spare flyer/promo leaflet, or even maybe a spare programme I could buy off them for the current tour? I've got my partner tickets for the tour for Christmas and I'd love to be able to give them something physical not just a printout of a QR code.

Does anyone know if Danny Mac is performing this week? I can't find any holiday dates for hislm online. He's posted on Instagram that he's in Bognor Regis so I'm just checking. I was thinking about getting a Rush for this at the weekend but I'm not sure I want to sit through it if Danny's not in it! Looks like he's out all week

Does anyone know if the Playhouse in-the-round redevelopment is permanent or just for this production of Cabaret?

Curious to hear from any folks in the UK - has the cast returned to work? Do they resume rehearsals now (and perhaps make any changes)? And is next Wednesday's first resumed performance the Press night? According to Carrie Hope Fletcher's instagram story - "rehearsals have been happening over the past couple of weeks and we have 4 dress runs from Friday to Monday. But prior to this break we were open for 3 weeks so the rehearsals required isn't as extensive." Press night is August 25th I believe.

I just got my new booking confirmation, still booked for next Wednesday, but no longer 'going to the ball', been moved back to the centre of row T in the stalls. A little disappointed to be so far back now but I did take advantage of the dynamic pricing when those front stalls seats were only £30 for early previews.

ATG is surely one of the worst websites ever made? I keep trying to login to my account but once I log in it just takes me to a list of every performance they have on sale and I can't see any way of accessing my account details. I'm just trying to access my order history because I'm just lost with all of the date changes.

I thought I signed up by email for the Disney presale but can't find anything in my inbox. Maybe I'm getting confused. Glad it's reasonably priced, guess I'll have to wait for the Tuesday general sale

There's a poster for this by the station in Hammersmith. Very vague, just says the title with 'musical theatre' with no dates or anything! Have seen something similar on social media.... Have also seen one at Euston.

They announced the Spring season at the end of October for performances staring at the beginning of February. So if they're sticking to that time frame, they should announce the next season around the beginning of April.

I'd say James Northcote was the best, no one was giving particularly memorable performances though. The actress playing Kate was particularly weak I thought. (Apologies for not double quoting here, can't figure out how to do it!)

Considering the length, the seats and the infernal hags that haunt the theatre as ushers, I'll give this a hard pass. I'll try to muster the stamina for Women Beware Women tho. I thought it was particularly entertaining that the usher in the pit who was lecturing the poor prisoners about coats and phones and coughing and watches and talking and whispering and eating and shuffling and generally breathing before it started, kept on not-so-subtely checking her very bright smart watch throughout the first half. I didn't blame her though for this one.
