Do I need to know anything about this before seeing it or can I go in totally cold?

Well this was long wasn't it. Fantastic though. Sat in Stalls E25 / E26 which are restricted view officially but the restriction is almost non-existant. Incredible value. Also the chairs were very comfy.

Thanks Daniel. Seems strange when according to the seating plans online there's lots of availability to fill up.

Does anyone know if there are any offers running on this at the moment? My usual go to place of TheatreMonkey doesn't seem to be showing any.

I saw this yesterday, E6/7 in the Dress. Not bad for £25 behind a pillar seats although E6 suffers a lot more than E7.
The no food rule seems right, the show is so quiet it would be incredibly distracting for anyone around that person, but perhaps it's so quiet because there's no rustling and snacking going on in the audience. They also won't serve ice in drinks after 720. Again a wise decisions. I remember Fences pivotal moment being ruined by someone near me pouring a glass full of noisy ice into their mouth and crunching it.
Actually one small problem now is the squeaking of the chairs and floorboards. Any movement makes a noise which is suddenly amplified due to the silence in the space. And annoyingly most people get fidgety and restless near the intense end scenes. But what can be done. Surely there won't be a no moving sign up next!
Incredible performances in an intense play. Very much enjoyed it. Were out at 1040.

The system I found to be pretty reliable and fair this time round.

Thank you! I'll get the Tennant BBC Production and watch that before seeing the show.

Okay so I've booked for this but don't know of the play and have never seen or read Hamlet (I know... I know....) I feel like I need to do some research to get the most out of this? Can anyone suggest anything I should watch or read? Failing that it'll be the sparknotes!

Thanks baemax. I appreciate it. Maybe we should start a list of good and bad pillar seats!

Does anyone know why Yerma isn't on sale from the 7 - 19th Aug. Is the theatre dark during these times or have those dates just not gone on sale yet? Seems very odd for what is already a super short run to have such a huge gap.

Sorry to jump in on this thread, just looking ahead to booking opening for the new season next week for non friends. I know there used to be some good discussion about the restricted view seats. But I can't seem to find any of it. Was wondering if anyone can advise on the best £10 and £18 restricted view seats? Thank you!

So does anyone know where the £57.50 seats are? *fingerscrossedforthestalls* Back row of the stalls, side slips in the dress circle and side edges at the back of the dress circle then most of the Grand

I saw it from the stalls on Broadway and loved it, we were row G and it felt like I was in the action. This time I'm going for the circle because I felt (having seen the Tony's performance) that it'd be nice to see it from a wider view and look at how the lighting hits the floor and such.

Having seen this in the stalls on Broadway I really want to see it from the circle in London. Anyone got any experience of the Victoria Palace Circle? C 7 & 8 are non premium prices. Are they good or too side on?

I have two good seats for Thurs 12 Jan that I can't use now. They're the £75 face value ones. If anyone's interested in them for cost price drop me a message.

He was certainly rumoured for it. My bets are on it being in Nick Hytners opening season in his new theatre

Does anyone know how much they are checking tickets / ID currently? I'm giving my tickets to my brother but am worried they won't let him in!
