Because it would be too obvious. When it's announced you'll see that it is indeed Officer It could be Officer and a Gentleman, if it is related to Jamie Wilson, who was quoted as saying he was working on this with Curve for a 2018 production. Then why didn't that numpty at the launch event sing 'Up Where We Belong' instead?!!

Stefan Golaszewski wrote and performed two excellent one man plays, 'Talks About A Girl He Once Loved' and 'Is A Widower.'
He did them in Edinburgh, then again at the Bush in London. I remember some playtexts were published.

Left in the interval. Just wasn't feeling it at all. Totally didn't grip me in any way.

I found myself enjoying this when I really thought I wouldn't. Great staging. However the whole tink character and story line was just the worse. Like bad GCSE drama. Cut that character and find another concete to get into the songs.

It's a very wordy play with strong Irish and Northern Irish accents and is quite dense. My guess is you'd probably follow it but miss a lot of the subtlety and might find it more of a struggle than you might want for a relaxing night at the theatre.

I thought this was fantastic. Doesn't require any more attention than any normal play. Quite incredible performances and a brilliant piece.

Not strictly a play but after his success on America's Got Talent he is back in the West End at the Garrick theatre. Saw it today and totally loved it. Can't recommend it enough!

Yep all in the descriptions which are quite graphic and violent. The whole point I suppose is that they are as nasty and violent as you can get. If you can sit through an episode of Game Of Thrones you'll probably be fine. I found myself quite desensitised by it all, where the older members of the audience around me where gasping and tutting and some crying. To some extent that generational gap is what the whole play is about.

I thought this was rather excellent. A bit too long, yet despite that it never dragged. Oddly paced, the interval comes about 100 mins in, meaning the second act is very short. Great performances, great acting, lovely to see monologues on stage. I also like that he doesn't spoonfeed the audience the piece and you have to do some working out in your head.

I thought the orchestrations of this on the Palladium show were really not good, are they the same for the production?

Poppins to Drury Lane GHD to Piccadilly post Annie
The Bob Marley musical was looking for a home but I think the reviews weren't too positive so I don't see that coming anytime soon.

I really enjoyed this at the NT but find the transfer a bit strange. I hope it does well but it didn't blow me away and I wonder who I'd recommend it to.

I've heard it'll be in Drury Lane by Christmas for a limited run assuming 42nd St doesn't pick up.

I see this has started previews. I adored the book and film, any early reports from Stratford East? Is it worth the journey from West London?

Some shows like Impossible (the magic show at the Noel Coward) rely of audience participation, I think anyone in the audience there was fair game if they got picked? But if you're going to a lay where you don't expect it surely it's up to them to give you the chance to decline?
