Congrats. Where was your seat. Seat was F5, great view. The shower is on stage left, so people sitting on that side of the audience and close to the stage (as I was) would possibly get a better view. However, he takes his clothes off on more than one occasion, so I think everybody gets a chance to see whatever they want.

Got a lottery ticket from TodayTix and went to see this tonight.
The second act is indeed considerably longer than the first one, but neither felt long. It was my first time seeing the show, and I loved it.

I got a ticket in the TodayTix lottery yesterday and sat on stage.
If you are sitting in one of the front tables on either side of the stage, you will be fine. However, the other tables do have a restricted view, in some cases even very restricted. I sat in one of the front tables stage right (table 5), and the view was terrific. There was only one scene in which I could not see Audra's face, and that was when she sits on the stool in the corner (only lasts for a couple of minutes). Audra does interact a bit, but I did not get any complimentary drinks (maybe because it was a day seat, but I am not sure). As a matter of fact, I was told that if I wanted to go to the toilet or get any programs or drinks, I should do so before taking my seat on stage.
Overall, an amazing experience, and probably one of the finest performances I have ever seen on stage.

Such a nice show! Great performances, beautiful songs, and I had never seen such good choreography at that venue.
I had even to forget about my rule of not buying programs anymore, as I wanted to make sure I learned the names of everybody involved.

I saw this tonight and really enjoyed it. It was beautiful, poetic, and it has great choreography.
They told us to leave the auditorium during the interval for technical reasons. As the sets remained unchanged for act 2, I wonder why we had to leave.

Thanks. And how were the seats you (and others) ended up in? I sat on the ground level, in the third row, which happened to be the last row in the section where I was seating. Behind me were only the people who were standing. View was awesome from there. I am not sure where the other lucky dippers sat.

I am lucky dipping (it's like skinny dipping but riskier) at LoG on Saturday matinee. Has anybody done this yet? As I understand it, the lucky dippers wait until the last minute and are then all seated, but I don't know which areas are being set aside for them? I presume it can't be returned tickets and they might have set some aside in advance but I could be wrong. Any thoughts? I saw the show on Monday, and we lucky dip holders had to wait until one minute or so before the show started (the show ended up starting about five minutes late). While waiting, I asked the usher if there was a chance that I would be seated on stage, since I was the first one in the queue waiting to be seated. He said that if there were seats available on stage, I could take one of those. One minute before show time, he took us to seats which were available, none of which was on stage. It was not clear if he knew beforehand which seats were available or not.

2. Billy Elliot (partly for having a hard time with the cockney accent) Cockney?! Sorry, I meant Geordie. This just proves my point, though

1. Next to Normal (tears just wouldn't stop coming even though I had never listened to those songs before)

I am going this Saturday, and I am a great fan of the show. That said, I am not expecting much of this production. Well I hope it's good! I haven't book tickets....what makes you hesitant about this production? I'm not to familiar with the show😳?? My issues were mainly regarding casting. If this is your first time, you should know the show deals with some quite controversial themes. There are moments when you think 'Are they really saying that? That is just awful!'. But I have seen different people coming up with different explanations / interpretations for the controversial subjects, which I find quite interesting.

There is a small band, three musicians if I'm not mistaken (I don't remember the exact instruments, actually). They stay on stage, next to the wall.

I saw this yesterday and really enjoyed it. The lyrics were witty and funny - as you would expect from Sondheim, and I could not help but leave the theatre humming several of the songs. I think Michael Matus was terrific, and George Rae was really good, although I do agree with Steve that there was not a strong connection between Dianusos and Xanthias. I also really liked how each member of the ensemble received a proper character to play at one point or another, giving them a chance to show their skills (I wish this happened more often in shows, as sometimes I feel ensemble members are underused).
I would really appreciate if this either extended or transferred, so I could see it again. Does anybody know whether this is at all likely to happen?

I entered the website a few minutes ago and managed to get a ticket for a Saturday evening performance. Just when I thought all hope was lost!

They closed the upper circle tonight. My 29.5 pound ticket for the upper circle was upgraded to the dress circle's front row. I'm so glad I came to see it today, hope I like the show.

Really liked the show, although it was a bit longer that it should be - it finished at 10:47. First act ended precisely at 8:30, and the '5 minute' break between act 2 and act 3 took at least 8 minutes.
The character of Martha suits Imelda so well, and she was as brilliant as one could have expected. Conleth Hill was excellent, Luke Treadaway was sexy as hell, and Imogen Poots did what she could (I loved her dance moves).
Audience was really particularly rude tonight, and phones went off frequently. Also, people were laughing in some quite dramatic moments, the reason of which I did not fully understand.

Evita

I saw it yesterday from row A in the upper circle. I am glad they did not close the upper circle (despite it being only about 10% full), since otherwise I probably would have been moved to some row further in the back in the dress circle.
The show was great. Emma Hatton gave a spetacular performance - I really loved her 'You Must Love Me', and in my opinion Gina Marco is a terrific singer but an average actor. Having only seen Evita before in the production they had in New York a few years back (with Elena Rogers and Ricky Martin), I feel the production I saw yesterday was much less frenetic than the other one, for which I am glad. The first time I saw it, if felt like there was too much dancing, enough to distract you from the songs themselves. The amount of dancing yesterday was on point. The only thing I wish was different is that yesterday they barely waltzed in 'Waltz For Eva And Che'.

londontheatrefan I would like to buy one of your tickets if you haven't sold them yet. However, I can't seem to be able to message you (the website can't find your user). Could you send me a message?
