New booking period went on sale at noon and finally after 2 years of wanting to see it on my birthday (my birthday is the same as Alexander Hamilton's, it just feels right.) My 20th birthday is going to be spent with Hamilton on the 11th January 😁
Also means my next 3 trips are going to be interesting - American Independence Day, Halloween and Hamilton's birthday.

A combination of listening to the cast recording between trip 1 and 2 and seeing Sifiso on my first time meant I really struggled with Giles on my 2nd visit! I've only seen Giles (in four visits). I didn't even notice the lisp until someone on here mentioned it. Certainly has never bothered me and I thought his Olivier win was completely deserved. Best actor in the show. Also think Cleve September has his role nailed, even more so than his Sonny in In The Heights. But it's an incredibly talented cast in general.

It’s a strangely short new booking period, isn’t it?

Means they get to put out press releases saying "wow, the new booking period sold out SO QUICKLY, you guys!", which makes the show seem extremely in demand (which, in fairness, I expect it still is) and means the next batch of tickets will sell quickly too because of the perceived scarcity and the perpetual motion machine that is Hamilhype.

Have the prices changed for the latest booking period? (haven't had chance to check)

I don’t expect we’ll hear anything at all from Lin coming for a West End run until this Puerto Rican production happens. I actually can’t imagine it happening at all right now.

Can you have two bookings on the same card for the same performance. The seat next to me is available for my mam to come with me but she wants me to get it.

The easiest thing would to be use another card if you have one, or for your mum to give you her card details (I know how mums are with internet transactions - I can relate). Otherwise you’d have to call Ticketmaster and sort it out over the phone.

I think they may have set themselves up for far too much admin with certain restrictions in the first booking period.

^ It won't be much of a birthday treat if you have to pay, especially with you being a poor student!!!

Yep- just have both emails and they’ll swipe your card twice at the entrance. I bought a pair and then added a third seat elsewhere for the same performance for myself, my mum and sister and it was all grand!

Does anyone ever win the Hamilton Lottery? Do you get good seats from it?

Does anyone ever win the Hamilton Lottery? Do you get good seats from it? Long time lurker here! I won the lottery for this past Friday's performance and our seats were Stalls B38 and 39 (end two of the row) so are classified restricted view. I didn't find them too bad though as you only miss a small section of the side. Although row B is very close to quite a high stage I did like being able to see facial expressions. I was so shocked to win though, after entering for most performances since it opened, I thought it was never going to happen!

Because when I bought them they were sold as "normal" seats.

Wow! When I send a message that I thought the view was restricted I got an email from boxoffice saying that they never heard someone complain about those seats and that the view wasnt restricted!!!! A month later they changed it to restricted view!
I paid 100 for them (100 a seat) and they werent marked obstructed.... three weeks ago.

Stephenson Ardern-Sodje will be on as A Ham tonight. Intriguing! Hope Jamael’s okay, I saw the Thurs matinee and all seemed fine but then Ash went on in the evening. I guess with Sifiso as Burr (as he has been since Thursday too), they’re a bit short - good job Stephenson wasn’t added to the cast a while back really.

Just saw this for the first time tonight. I enjoyed it a lot and everything about it was great as You would imagine. New a bit about the show and a fair few songs but was still very exoted. Stephenson Arden-Sodjie was superb as Hamilton, filled with charisma and played the character very welll with a very nice voice. I can see him doing very well in the West End and glad to have seen his debut. Don’t know who was Burr but believe it was an understudy so if anyone’s knows please tell. Can’t really add much else to what has been said but I really loved the lighting in the show and had very good seats in row J of the grand circle and they are nicely priced.

Yes - that’s what i mean...sorry if that was unclear. I mean they would not schedule an u/s to do a Saturday night show. They would never be desperate because they are there to fill in when called upon.

Just managed to grab a pair of £20 seats for a Saturday night in February 2019. Grand Circle slips 1-2. Will be my 3rd time seeing the show. Hopefully the view isn’t too bad?

Wont be that bad but do know that you will be seated on a bench with little legroom.

I found the legroom better in the U/C slips than in either circle but you do have to lean forwards. Still totally worth it for the price!

At least you have back support there. Here you can't easily lean backwards without hurting your back and because you're very close to the people next to you.
